Songs that get stuck in your head

Woo my first post here. What are some of your favorite songs, or songs that just bore a line into your skull and broadcast into your brain 24/7? Lately I've been battling the Ievan Polkka for about the last week or so. Before that it was Caramelldansen and various songs from the new "The Killers" album I just bought. The Killers are highly catchy, so their material just stays in my brain and pops out at random.  :mowdizzy

So what are some of the sticky songs that get stuck in your mind to the point of insanity  :U?

Amber Williams

The one that happens to get stuck in my head the most is FunkyTown.

Mostly because it's played constantly. :<

And then I try to counter with this http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=wPOpiBXeKdY

Because I am super fly.

Supposedly, this trumps all songs, and can be used to remove any song stuck in your head.  Plus, it has a pretty definite end, so after you're done, it just drops out of your brain all by itself.

Try it.  If you have a stuck song, just belt it out, and you're set.

Aw, man, I've always got some tune scuttling around my head like a ferret or something. I embrace it, though. The problem is that it's sometimes a song that I've written myself and then I feel like some kind of pathetic ego-maniac.

Oh dear.

Turnsky

actually, the only one that gets stuck in my head most often is the main theme string of the Metal Gear Solid series.

Dragons, it's what's for dinner... with gravy and potatoes, YUM!
Sparta? no, you should've taken that right at albuquerque..

Ba de ade adeba ba ba badumduma daeade gets stuck in my facehead all the time.

Oh dear.

Pretty much anything I like or extremely dislike gets stuck in my head.  :animesweat

The ending song of Claymore is the crown jewel however because it has been stuck in there forever.
I haven't heard to song in ..... a year and something...but I still get it in my head, sometimes on purpose.  :U To stop the bad music from running around in there.

I Just Can't Get You Out Of My Head get in there very often.

Oh, getting music stuck in my head is fairly easy...I was just listening to America's "The Border", and I find myself sometimes singing the words to myself even if I'm not listening to it.

Another one...this one originally for a Flash movie on Newgrounds.  "The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny."  It's a silly song, and terribly catchy.   :rolleyes

Not to mention I think I know "Hotel California" by the Eagles by heart.   :erk

Tapewolf

The main riff in Operation Wendigo was written in an attempt to get the Leekspin song out of my head.  In some ways it was exchanging one headache for another...

Right now, the ending from November Rain by GnR is fighting for space alongside the chorus of a new song I'm working on.

I'm telling you.  National Geographic theme song.

Another one that supposedly removes any song is Private Dancer.  The reason is the same.  It's got an extremely short but absolutely magnetic chorus that will trump any other song, but the rest of the song is impossible to remember.  So when you get to the end of the chorus, the song just drops out of your head and leaves no other song it its wake.

for a week i had the song 'be a man' from the mulan soundtrack stuck in my head

moreso, the bit about a great typhoon kept repeating, got very irritating

Have had a bunch of Electric Six tunes looping around my head for a bit now, mainly because I've been practicing 'Infected Girls' on the guitar. 'Improper Dancing' is surprisingly catchy too.

And then of course there's the unforgettable FIRE IN THE DISCO!

Fire in the... Taco Bell!

FIRE in the disco!

Fire in the... gates of Hell!

[dance routine!]

Corgatha Taldorthar

The last song that I happen to have heard..............
Someday, when we look back on this, we'll both laugh nervously and change the subject. More is good. All is better.

Angel

The songs that get stuck in my head kinda vary. One time it was "Baby got Back" for almost a week. Sometime last week it was "I Don't Like Mondays" by the Boomtown Rats, because I was trying to learn how to play it. Currently, it's a mix between the orchestral pieces in Smash Bros. Brawl, and a strings piece called "Rosin Eating Zombies from Outer Space."

Out came the sun and dried up all the rain,
And the itsy-bitsy spider went up the spout again...
