Boogey (inadvertently) made me a new avatar. It was too big from his DA account, so I stuck it in my photobucket account to shrink it. When it had been shrunk to acceptable size, I put the URL in my profile. For some reason, the picture keeps coming out at the full 400x 800 (give or take) pixel size, despite the shrinking and the fact that the site isn't even supposed to allow avatars that big. How do I fix this?

Photobucket won't always shrink your pictures. You'll need to re-size it yourself, either with something like MS Paint or with another picture shrinking program.
