Convenient indeed. I love the little star.

Ren Gaulen

How could you have gotten this far, Dark P, if you can't even maintain a decent dungeon?! No decent dungeon has a right to be this well-lit! And such maps are a big "NO"! And where are the guards?! Your cheapness will be the end of you, Dark P, mark my words!! D:<

Nah, there's no way it can be true!

Damn that is a well drawn foot I must say.

We haven't seen many feet in the comic, I notice they have one less digit, I've often wondered why print based (compared to animation) cartoon characters have only three fingers and a thumb. That's a total of four 'missing' digits, I wonder if that would be a disadvantage.

The Simpsons have three fingers and a thumb, so do many other animated characters.  I guess some see it as easier to draw that way; when I tried to draw fingers, sometimes I tended to draw three, because there didn't seem to be room on the hand for four.   :erk

Also that is a nice little convenient map.  Maybe evil dungeons have their own malls.  A floor for hosiery.   :B

It means they are likely to count in octal rather than decimal.  It's interesting that only furres have three fingers - humans have all four.

Amber is just showing off her skills in todays episode... Though the foot is well drawn I can not feel the fur.
Those little maps in dungins are helpful, especally when you need to sneak around but in the long run for the bad guy they can be bad.

I was sure Dan had a few more weapons under his robe (dress).  I mean if you can hide a sword like that, a few more daggers wouldn't be so hard.

Yes, I do post just to see my own words on the screen.

dark Pegasus has shown he can plan way ahead of most heroes and more than most villains in comical atmosphere so could this be a trap for intruders and escapees or is this just comical humor. Pegasus doesn't seem to match the world around :boogie him with his evil genius and that sharp contrast seems all the more amusing because of it

maybe DP is bad at finding his way around his Lair and need a  Map to find his way around his lair  :3

He didn't plan on adventurers running aroud in his lair. How would they get past the riddle-asking troll at the drawbridge, or the massive wall of fire?

(And sure, the prisoners were untrustworthy even though they were provided by a certified agent, but he had them quarantined, and didn't even execute them. It's totally unfair.)

Yeah, doesn't Dan know that imprisoned "maidens" are supposed to remain in their cells until they're called upon? No fair clobbering the guard and escaping to wander the dungeon unescorted. :mowdan

You know, I don't think DP learned anything from this first encounter. In #147 they somehow got ahold of a map to the castle again.

At least in the later encounter DP had the mind not to post it up on walls.

Dark Pegasus's henchmen aren't necessarily extremely advanced in the brains department.  Maybe the maps are there because Dark Pegasus got tired of telling people where to go.

That DEFINES Dark Pegasus, you realize. From the beginning he's been presented as doing everything the exact same way every time. He's big on tradition. And he never read the evil overlord list.

e_voyager

not quite remember he had a dragon guard the third time around. for all we know the doom knights are part of his second campaign. he gets better but not necessarily quickly.
I thank Silver Fox and Tiger_T for the wonderful Yappies.  all around the universe powers learned to hiss and curse at this, my creation but am i real or pure creation?

Yeah, look how well that dragon worked out, Dan talked he way past him, even apparently sidestepping the issue of the money he owed the dragon by engaging in small talk.

You know, this makes 2 dragons that apparently don't want to kill Dan  (gotta go back and reread that dragon dialog with Falina and Ducky), the red in DP's castle and Pyroduck.

EDIT: OK, so maybe just Ducky, The red doesn't know yet that Dan is Cyra clan. If he finds out, will he demand his money before trying to kill Dan?

also, i love that map.  but sometimes those things make it even more confusing to get around. it could all just be a very clever ploy. XD

That reminds me, why would Dan be stored in a different place than the Amazons? I mean, if they're all sacrifices...

I'm thinking multiple tiers of sacrifices for the Dark God, e.g. Dark Pegasus is going to use Danielle as the grand offering and throw in a few Amazons to sweeten the deal.

As far as I remember Dark P was going to use several "sacrificial maidens" (and one drake) at once. But that does not explain why the amazons were kept separately from Dannie. My guess would be that the amazons could not be used as the sacrifices at all. Why else would Dark P be displeased with the fact that they were amazons?

What really makes me wonder is what exactly is that Dark God whom Dark P tries to summon/awaken/resurrect? Is it some ancient immensely powerful specimen of a Demon race that was sleeping for millennia? Or, maybe, an entity of a higher order, even more powerful than the fae? Or maybe Dark P is simply delusional and there is no Dark God at all???

I don't know, but I've pondered the same thing myself.  There seem to be four deified 'Cubi so gods or godlike creatures do exist in Furrae.  Of course it might actually be a Fae.  Or, as you say, a figment of DP's imagination.

Do Dan's feet have claws? And where did he get that bandage? But..teehheee.

I used to think those "You are Here" mall Map's had GPS on you, and the star would move as you moved.

They must have claws, which are simply retracted right now. Look at Dan's hand in the second to last panel here.
As for the bandage, it must have come from Dan's sub-space inventory storage. Most heroes tend to have such storages. :B
