Ok, then! On the LTFAQ section:

"For the record, the CVRPG arc "Castlevania RPG Gaiden" was planned to be a game. A friends (and fan of the site) developed a little demo of Darkmoon fighting Dracula (that I raelly should post, one day, on here), and it spawned that idea. It ws always supposed to be bother a game and a story arc, that way people that couldn't play through the game would get a version of the story."

"The game, though would have had a slightly different story" <- I think there should be a comma after "though".

I did a quick archive-dive a bit ago, but soon plan to go through the archive a bit more attentively. Not to find errors, but since this is my only exposure to Castlevania I figured I should be acquainted to its continuity at the least. I figured if I'm going to do that, I may as well flag stuff for you as long as it is what you want done.

Mind you, your story lines and humor stand alone quite well and I am enjoying the comic. I can't help but suspect that there are inside jokes getting past me...

If you're looking to actually get acquainted with real continuity, I'd almost recommend ICVD, except for the fact that half the stuff on there is humor (and the other half are humorous reviews).

The Castlevania Dungeon is a good source for a little light information on the topic.
