I found it interesting, that I happened across a Dagwood comic from January 7th which had the boss in a pirate get-up threatening his employees in Pirate Speach. And yet... there were so many grammer issues. For one, it existed.

 If someone came up to me in years gone by talking like a pirate at random, I thought it was amusing, they were insane, and respected anyone willing to show a goofy side in public. It was fun.

"Official" holiday now. If someone comes up to me on this day and talks like a pirate, I just suddenly crave mutton....

I also say "Mate" sometimes, though I suppose that's more Australian than Pirate, eh, mate?
