It's not my evil. Therefore it's bad by definition. ;-]

Do you want to wait back at the Tardis then eh?

And here I was, under the impression that an iMow was like an iPod.

Oh, well, too late to fix it now...

Quote from: Tapewolf on June 17, 2007, 08:42:39 AMI mean no disrespect, but that's just not true.  It was chronically broken until V7 - the PNG reader was about 6-8 years behind the rest of the world.

Well, of course!  PNG is an open source alternative to patent-encumbered GIF.  Microsoft is going to deliberately cripple it.

Quote from: Aridas Soulfire on June 17, 2007, 08:50:42 AMEr... Sorry, but I don't find PNG transparency to be a really pressing issue.

Transparency is a major issue in web design.  If you can't do it with PNGs, you have to do it with GIFs, which are limited to 256 colors, which is often unacceptable.

Tapewolf--did IE allow GIF transparency?

Would you like a googolplex (gzipped 57 times)?

llearch n'n'daCorna

Yes.

In as much as it "allows" anything, anyway...

If it's so important, why didn't MNG catch on in the same way?

I've seen porn made out of Firefox anthropomorphized; can IE or Safari make that boast?

Didn't think so.

I've seen ie and safari porn

Thus the reason for rule 34 >.< I saw porn of someone doing an IE window once.

Well your lucky.... I only switched to firefox because for some f**ked up [sorry ment to say stupid]  reason my IE won't let me see youtube videos....or anything that has to do with flash....which is 99% of what i do online.... *help would be loved*

Good question.  If I had to guess, I'd say that MNG is more recent than PNG, and I think MNGs are typically much larger than GIF89.

That could totally be am iPod skin with thingies sticking out of it. I'd buy it, if it was for a 30G video.

Wow I must be one of the only people who has no problems with IE. The new tabs feature works great and I use it all the time. I never get spammy toolbars because whenever I go anywhere or install anything I actually READ what it says rather then just hitting okay until it goes away.

D'ooooh, you did NOT just go there... :nono

I have a serious issue with reading legal documents that is clearly listed in this legal document about my ADD.  Yesh. Usually it's my little brothers who download 'em. That, and my computers come pre-packaged with spam. Like the Yahoo! toolbar, the now unnecessary Google Toolbar, and all sorts of crap that my brothers download.

Along with the fact they've defaced the PC with a wallpaper of Starcraft 2. They worship it every day at noon until it comes out. Ruins lunch, I don't want to think about Zergs and Terrans and how creepishly sexyish Kerrigan looks. And I don't typically those of my own gender sexy.

And I would splurge and go on in some unrelated passion about a new webcomic I liked here, but I'll save you.

Afterthought: This is going to be one for my "Kryptic's ADD Rants" files.  I need to keep track of these. They're confusing but entertaining when I look back on 'em.

And also, many programs and OS have anthropomorphic varieties.

I'm tempted to post the Wii mote one I just found... it's not dirty but it does swear...

and my favorite landing craft one is mildly dirty but you can't see anything other then some embarrassed tanks

Must be your flash installation's fault.

Oh I don't read the legal jargon part of those things. That never changes and it's always block of text. What I was refering to are the people who, when installing something, just click okay repeatedly until it goes away. Usually the google toolbar and such are ONE full page of the installation process so all it would take is three seconds of paying attention and poof No Toolbar.

This is me installing something...

*Opens program and install shield loads*

Blah blah thank you *clicks okay*
Blah blah stuff about program *clicks okay*
Blah blah legal stuff *clicks accept then okay*
Blah blah oh sunva... *Checks no on stupid toolbar then clicks okay*
blah blah done *clicks finish*

Considering I have ADD and I can notice this, someone would have to either be way too impatient, three years old, or an idiot to NOT notice when the full page of the install thing says GOOGLE TOOLBAR. God the things usually have Google's full logo which is BRIGHT FREAKING RAINBOW COLOURED LETTERS nobody with ADD can say they don't notice a bright colored freaking thing suddenly popping up on their screen.

I use Firefox because, I have to constantly go back and forth from Mac to PC, and it is nice to be able to have bookmarks synchronize back and forth from computer to computer, and have the same basic layout and setup on all computers I use.

Not when forced upon me.

I'm more of a Warcraft girl myself... And only sparingly. I tend to suck vacuum-style when I play those kinda games. If I'm going to play strategy, Fire Emblem's more my style.
