Pal's gonna be away for a while

Pal just informed me that he's going to be away for a couple weeks. I'm not sure if he wants me to say where exactly he's going, so I'll leave it until he comes back if he wants to tell you or not.

Gah.  The one time I spring for a positive outlook and it turns out to be something tragic or unpleasant.  Well, I hope he gets over it soon.  Because his absence will be noticed.

Ah, mental institutions... how many times I have visited a certain mom in there.
Just think of it as a vacation... with lots of rules.

Aww, I kinda figured that this is what RJ meant.  No fun finding out my intuition was right.

(I know you won't be able to read this until it's over, so I hope this message is still pertinent)

I've had my personal demons of depression and anxiety to wrestle with (with the grace of God, on an outpatient basis).  I find that you actually learn a lot more about yourself after you leave therapy and reflect back on what your therapist got wrong.  Then you can see the road ahead and where you need to go next.

Anyways, here's to good luck with your work.  Again, we'll miss you and we're anxiously awaiting your return.

Perhaps we should plan a little online party for when Pal gets back?
