Granted, your "ibuprofen" comes in the form of a small colorful pill.  The hallucination you had after taking it gave you quite a wild ride, of course when they finally found you, you were on the floor twitching and mumbling something about plaid rabbits.  And there's a strange aftertaste.  It tastes... purple.

granted, unfortunately you have to find a way to extract it from the pacific ocean, and making matters worse you are floating in a rowboat in the middle of the ocean during the late 1800's awaiting rescue, but you are fortunate there is plenty of table salt just waiting to be mined from the ocean waves.
