So it looks like we have one more confirmed boon. Or soon-to-be-confirmed. I swear I could remember three others when I started typing but now I can only remember Jy and Fa'Lina. So there's more to be confirmed (or just reminded of), and one left. I have to wonder what Biggs used his boon on - since it wasn't to bring his mother back, it may have been to protect the people he had left, or even his transition instead of seeking out specialists.

The more I see of Mab's Machinations concerning the world and her boons which she has been using to move them along and favors called in, I cannot help but begin to feel she is playing a very dangerous game of 'God" that will go badly if one of the pieces in it doesn't do what she expects them to do and ruins it. I mean Jyrras already used up his boon on accident to get the Fae Curse keeping him safe removed and Mab had to plan around that and then Pip had to make sure Abel didn't die as that is what his Boon was originally meant for. Especially considering she is only Omnipotent when she is in the Fae Realm.

The alternative is that this cruddy system stays around forever and creatures continuously beat beings, however.

I suspect that part of the plan might also be something to shake up the multiverse as a whole and break the dragon's control over things.

From a competitive perspective, they should! Morals aside, individual Creatures appear - generally speaking - superior to individual Beings: stronger, having more abilities, typically living longer...

As the Demonology page describes, Beings have attempted to make up for this with numbers, technology, and subterfuge - and they have surely been helped by in-fighting among Creatures. But while these factors may allow a determined group of Beings to overcome an individual Creature - even a Dragon - it seems unlikely to be effective against them all, especially once it becomes clear that certain Beings are conspiring against them as a group.

To obtain equal treatment, Beings, Creatures, Dragons, etc. will actually have to become equal. And perhaps that is what the future holds. A new ultimate weapon, that destroys all magic? Stranger things have happened.

That would make Destania's genocidal plans look like a tea-party since most of the inhabitants of Furrae have magic-assisted metabolisms and Beings benefit greatly from medicinal spells/cosmetics/life extensions so it won't do much good to them either.  It's a definite possibility, but it's a bit like destroying the village to save it.

Perhaps, but then...
It wouldn't be the first time that was done - even by members of an impacted race. They might likewise live to regret it... although perhaps not for long, given the rage of many magical creatures.
Biggs, Fa'Lina, Jyrras -- confirmed.

Dan? Wildy? Dan's sister (Mallet or Inn?)

According to the cast page, Alexsi obtained the Inn from Destania and the mallet was left to her by Quintinga.

What was Fa'lina's boon? I must be forgetting they know each other. I have a vague memory but don't know where to look that up.
Memory like Dory.

The creation of SAIA was a Fae boon.  It's possible she managed to wangle it from some other Fae, but Mab seems the most likely.

I'm absolutely certain Dan is one, and I strongly suspect he's the last. So we've got one boon to confirm and one boon to go.

Craaaap. The more I see of Mab, the more I start to..dislike..her?

It's hard to say what I mean but..Mab has a plan. And that whole 'You're one of my best friends' rings a bit hollow now that we know she's planning something, and it involves her friends.

It feels more like 'And now you can be useful to me', and that hurts. I don't want to see Mab; happy, carefree, silly Mab, manipulate an emotional and confused and grieving Biggs into becoming the future leader of Twink Territories. :(

It's not a guaranteed thing though - Mab and Albanion had to come up with something quick when Jy wasted his boon. Despite all her power, and what she can see of the future, it seems like her abilities and knowledge are still limited. She knows she's going to lose friends in the upcoming conflict - she doesn't know if she'll lose them all. She didn't seem to understand when Fa'Lina called her a "new/old friend" and there's mounting evidence that she isn't bound to the constraints of linear time (primarily Rose's age and having been Queen once), given that she seems to have been a child and aged alongside Dan & co.

So I don't expect Mab to guide what Biggs wishes for, only to grant it as closely to her own plans as possible.

You know, by age 6... I would have wished for all the knowledge in the universe.

I was quite the mentally-advanced little would-be Overlord.   >:3
Three's a crowd:  One lordly leonine of the Leyjon, one cruel and cunning cubi goddess, and one utterly doomed human stuck between them.
