A real world Blue Volcano!

One of the things I've been asked when I showed people this strip was if there was such a thing as a "blue volcano", or if it was just unique to this fantasy setting.

Well, the question has finally been answered.  I give you a real life Blue Volcano.

Maybe if the sulfur miners look closely enough (assuming they don't burn up) they'll spot a mythos or two feeding sulfur chunks to a blue furnace.

This image has always been one of my favourites of that volcano - I can almost picture the guy wearing wizard robes or adventurer's gear.

Geee...It wouldn't take much of an imagination to view that Torch as a wand and the lava as something he conjured. XD
