So, I wonder how those two are related to Dorcan.  Considering they referred to Dorcan's 8th birthday, they're most definitely cubi, but since they've chosen to take the form of wise old beings, they're most likely up there in years, probably over 1000 at least.

I can't help but wonder who Dorcan's older relative means by them.  Does his clan have any enemies?

Considering how Dorcan reacted when he first saw Joshua wearing another cubi clans mark I'd have to say yes.

But I guess a bigger question would be how they will react to their son becoming an android and them finding out the company he's keeping now?
