Is that the spellbook in bloodlines?

Alucard_The_Great

my favorite Sub-Zero weapon is... oh whoops! lol!

Dagger for sure.

.sub_zero.

yeah, my favorite sub weapon is the dagger

Mageknight Locke

the dagger? do you come from a bizzare parrallel unvierse where good means bad etc,? the dagger has basically nothing but range going for it  :blink

Destina Faroda

I personally like the cross.  It acts like boomerang and it's strong.
Sig coming...whenever...

ilpalazzo

The dagger in SotN
but fist in Hod

Altogether though the cross.

Paavo

The axe has owned many Castlevanias.

Jorge D. Fuentes

Yeah for me it really depends on the game:

CV1- Holy Water (Triple Shot)
CV2- Golden Dagger
CV3- Holy Water (Triple Shot, Trev), Lightning Orbs (Sypha), Axe (Grant), PocketWatch (Al, since that's all he can carry)
CV4- Cross
Rondo- Cross
Bloodlines- Boomerang (not shaped like a Cross in that game, but it's cool)
Belmonts' Revenge- Axe
Chronicles- Cross (though it ties with the Laurel Herb... the Laurel Herb rocks)
Symphony- Dagger (Alucard throws 'em like a Machine Gun)
Circle o' the Moon- CROSS (Oh my God Cross is awesome in this one)
Harmony- Fist
CV64- Holy Water (it makes for sparkly shiny burn)
CVLegacy of Darkness- Axe (Lv3, Shockwave Axe)
LoI- Axe
AoS- Um... with Julius, Cross.

Overall, the Cross wins out.  :D

Paavo

Please somebody explain to me why Dagger is leading? Is it the best to use, or just plainly the coolest?

Mageknight Locke

dont ask me i voted for the herb, being able to heal yourself is always a good thing

Xuzaf D

The dagger will always be useful for picking off some bastard from far off. It's also always the cheapest. Plus- CotM homing daggers in shooter mode.

Green Lantern

The axe rules Rondo of Blood, but the holy water sucks in that game. The axe is also really good in CV3 as well, especially during boss fights.

But overall I like the cross the best. I'm more partial to the Rondo-ized version that Richter, Juste, and Julius use. Leon's plain cross sucks, but he crashes it better than anyone.

ilpalazzo

Wow cross this and cross that. cross is tied with the dagger.

TurboJustin

Dagger rules all. It is fast and effective

Mageknight Locke

i hate the dagger because its velocity makes it almost immpossible to hit humpers mid jump, and humps and medusa heads are TEH GHEYORZ!

i second this ;) :spidey

ilpalazzo

You haven't mastered the dagger you No0b.

Don't hurt me :blink

Slayer...

Achirio

For me, it depends on the boss I'm going to fight, cross is excellent for most medusas while Axe is excellent for most giant bats... and so on.

ilpalazzo

There is usually only one giant bat.

Achirio

Ever played castlevania 1? the final level is filled with giant bats. But my point is that i choose the sub weapon according to the boss I'm gonna face in each level.

ilpalazzo

I have Cv1 for my nes but I prefer my Cv3 more, I get more play out of three.

Cheap and efficent. Item crash on it makes you invunerable from damage until you finish it. Try using the wind book + dagger in Hod. The same can also be said with the fist in HOD.

Xuzaf D

Wow! You found the Necromancy orb!

ilpalazzo

hey, chip, you read the rules?

Let me guess I broke a rules right? Probably because it has nothing to do with the replied topic right?
