IMHO the bands that belong as a sad little note in the "Anal of Rock History" would be rather extensive.

My first impression the 'groan' in the fourth panel is that it came from us, the audience, as we rolled our eyes or face-palmed in response to the Kid Rock reference... no? All the main characters seem to be looking out past the fourth wall at the audience in response to the reaction. Then I thought, no, someone is calling all the undead together for some nefarious reason.

...so another bit of a cliffhanger.

yeah, that just kind of ended... apparently the gohlems din't like the idea of rockabilly gangsta rap, and I wouldn't blame them. Now Mummy's "Groan, Groooooan  Growl Guru Groan" is a classic in every sense of the word.
