I taught he'd just lock her up somewhere, but shoot her that's a little extreem. From the looks of things Ashford is making it to the botom of my list (just above Aniz) and I can also predict a robo-Keton in the futur.

Edit: o now I get it it wa sthe other way arround.

Ow wait... I should be sad about somebody dying, shouldn't I? :/

Screw it, this page is still my favorite  >:]

Thanks.  I have to admit, it's one of my favourites in the story so far, which is why I was going nuts at the thought of it being delayed.  I remember after I'd originally written it I was going "How the hell am I going to follow that up...?" and as with chapter 7, the next arc starts adding a new character or two while I tried to work out where the story was going, and then settles back into its groove.

Well, yeah, the sad thing was that despite their quirks and callousness they were actually trying to make the world a better place...

I guess people tend to forget there is no great good or great evil :/
In fact it wold seem that the real evil in this comic is mostly bad communication and prejudice :<

Eh? I think someone has misread the latest strip. Relax, Garsemor, you won't have to worry about Ashford doing bad things anymore.

Keaton, on the other hand... :rolleyes

Silly me, I guess it was the other way arround. Well it's still great page no change there.

Cool what? Have you missed the skirt all this time? Or are you just using "guy" because of her current appearance?

So Keaton shapeshifted into Ashford and that's his soul that little diamond?

That's an incredibly silly internet meme thing.

That corpse is gonna start to smell if it isn't disposed of. Nothing gives away a murder like the smell of dead meat. Um. . . not that i know that from experience. I read it in a mystery novel, yeah that's it.

Though not necessary for a cubi, maybe Keaton will eat the corpse as a way to get rid of it, or send it to another dimension (more probably than eating it... icky).

Tapewolf

No, with all her powers I don't think she's going to have a terrible problem disposing of the body.

Gross, man. I'm pretty sure Keaton has magical ways of disposing of corpses. :P

Damn right she has a magical way. It's called the meat grinder in a slaughterhouse.

Either way, she's not about to compromise her disguise by leaving the real one in the stationary cupboard  :P

The gentlemen in the slaughterhouse still haven't caught on to her scheme, by the way.

Even though she's been going there for 20 years.

They think she's a ghost.

It's the most fun Keaton's had in three hundred years.

I'd be glad to tell that story if there was any canonical truth behind it whatsoever. I'm sure the Furrae mafia would find her either an asset or a mentally-unhinged liability that they'd happily throw to the cops the first chance they get.

A mentally-unhinged asset, most definitely. *sage nod*

Makes me wonder what was more "fun" then that >.>

llearch n'n'daCorna

And they'd find themselves visiting the slaughterhouse, I expect.

I'm fairly sure it'd be the fifth such slaughterhouse. _Fairly_ sure.

Bashing in Kytharion's skull and taking his clothes as a grotesque trophy.

The difference between that and the slaughterhouse story is that Kytharion one was canon. :>

Soylent Green

Since no-one was able to afford Soylent except for special occasions, it wouldn't really matter if it was made of people or not.
(It was actually soya and lentils, hence the name)

So, if this were canon, all of her victims would wind up as a processed meat product for sale at a meat market?

So, where did the whole legend of Soylent Green being made of people start in the first place?

Also, Keaton is a very interesting person.
