From the creators of Zelda, Monster Zero is the latest platform game developed for the Nintendo Wii. Starring Adam Lovelace, this edge of your seat thriller is the greatest videogame since Back To the Future. The game starts as a High School dating simulator. Young Adam's goal is to find a girl who can tolerate his charming yet quirky personality.  After being spurned by the "ladies" Adam gets a job mowing lawns to earn persistence points which he can use to purchase  flowers, teddy bears , chocolates, coffee, munchies, and  Cool outfits. But there's  a danger when mowing lawns, after all there are killer  mice, kittens, gophers, rabbits, and   armadillos  who are hiding in the tall grass.  Adam's persistence points are based on  how much damage he doesn't take within the yard, and how many bags of grass he can rake in before the Neighbor's  dog  tears them up.

Once Adam has Mastered the art of Lawn management and pick-up-lines, he must then take his perfect date to the mall, where he has to answer trivia questions while watching his romantic interest eat. The trivia quiz has several options 1)do you like movies? 2)do you like sports?   3)let's talk about you? The third option is most difficult because it is based on information your romantic interest told you in the first stage  fail two out of the three trivia quizzes and you are booted back to level one. Answer  two out of the three trivia Quizzes correctly and you move on to a  FMV sequence  that reveals Aliens have taken over the mall. Adam's goal is to escape  the mall with your new girlfriend, during the process you  must find weapons and earn persistence points as you  battle the living mannequins, underpants , and zombies. Of course at this point you can play as Adam or his girlfriend, and each has an independent life meter, so if one dies the game doesn't end . Either character can earn luck/life points from the discovery of pennies on the ground or  defeating specific characters. Once you get to the double glass doors however  another FMV sequence reveals Adam and his romantic  interest escaping , but not befor adam gets zapped and turned into .....MONSTER ZERO  what follows is a series of mini games where you learn how to switch back and fourth between human and monster form, and how caffeine affects your mood/ abilities. Too much and you get a power boost, too little and you lose control of your avatar and just blindly attack anything that moves including allies with your weakest attacks.  The actual result of too little coffee is that the screen  behind your avatar  blurs so you are unable to identify allies, enemies, or other potential dangers.

The ultimate goal of the game is to destroy the alien  mother ship.

Staring a new thread because the last one is congested... the above image and blurb was made is for one of my classes, it was made exclusively in Adobe Illustrator and despite it simple appearance took me seven+ hours to make  on my laptop.

The text on the image is almost impossible to read.
This is my pencil. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My pencil is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life...

yes, unfortuantel Other than black I couldn't find any color that stands out against the Adobe blue, tried orange, and green, and brown.... pink isn't really appropriate. I even tried different backgrounds and couldn't get anything that really matched. If I was allowed to import I made in  Photo Shop for the assignment I would have had more options, I even tried different shapes, spirals, and decided it looked better with nothing rather than something.

The problem is that the colors are very vibrant, and don't contrast. Lower the saturation of the cyan, and add some black to darken the yellow. (Say, #99eeee and #d4d400)

Yellow and cyan are always going to contrast sharply, though.

On another note, your linework is improving.

Today is actually a holiday! Beleive it or not today is "odd day" 05-07-09 which occurs only once every hundred years... and yet paradoxally reoccurs seven times each century. what a perfect holiday for a time travel comic. If only it was #400 then it would be perfect. Oh well I'll have to settle for it being an odd numbered page, on an odd day, with oddball characters.
:P

I don't know if people have noticed but Megan usually appears on holidays... I wonder why.

Now I'm curious, and I'm afraid I've lost track of which story is which.  Is this a repeat, or a variation of the idea?

@ tapewolf

It's a recap. it has to be both  non-sequitor and review to catch people up to the current storyline. I chose the Sam Rami method because because the storyline as a whole is too freaking complicated as a whole  to explain in a single sentence.

your art is always good - but i have a really hard time telling which story is which, cause you keep jumping around to much from one story to another - this is really confusing for those who have no idea what is supposed to be going on

A weeabo-dragon-demon thing.  Impressive.  Though I'm not sure its exactly super-soldier material.  No guarantee he'll be able to control it, after all.

thes pages were part of the recap, megans watch causes a visuial distrtion of light. Vespartillo and megan are not the same person. the watch just disguises the wearers apperance. the hologram the watch projects does not have antenna noseleaves and wouldn't fool another alien, however since humans are generally oblivious to aliens it would definately look realistic.

and what you think you see you did not see....
Out of curiosity, I wonder whose side you're supposed to root for when everyone is affiliated with a villainous organization?
