and  now the works of ren have been demonstrated to be easily made into puppets- WE MUST HAVE MORE PUPPETS!

Ya know... I was feelin' really sad about the strip. Then I came to the thread...

But jeez, as far as the comic goes, that's rather sad.  :< Almost anvilicious.

Wow... it's the first time I've laughed so hard at comments made about such a sad strip.

As for the strip itself, I think it came out quite well, even with the character replications.

Good strip Tape.

Reminds me of this story:
A priest, a lawyer and an engineer were all in line to be hung by the gallows.
The priest went first, the lever was thrown, but the trapdoor didn't open. The priest claimed divine intervention.
The lawywer went next, the lever was thrown, but again the trapdoor didn't open. He said that if they pulled the lever again, it would be entrapment, and was let go.
The engineer went next, but just before they pulled the lever, he examined the gallows and said "Wait, I think I can see what was making it stick!"

Not quite - Ren only drew the figures(*).  I drew the Amber-trees myself, having stolen DMFA's shrub technology while removing the speech bubbles from 'Warrior for Hire'.




(*) Not to put Ren down, of course.  The figures are the most important part.

is it just me, or is that gabi in the far right right of the hanging of Jay... actually i spotted a few others, but the one's i'm most interested in are the ones that i can't quite place, such as the spotted kitty to the right of jay... or what looks like a male keaton just left of gabi...

also, awesome work tape... shocking, and yet it seems like an amazing way to start a new chapter and grab attention

Look at the base of the scaffold in the main strip.  There are credits there.
