Yes, it was awesome.  The other people in the office asked what I was looking at.
I have a strong urge to voice it if I have time....

I'm suddenly reminded of a long-ago Sluggy Freelance running gag in which Aylee believed one of her forms looked like a Pretty Flower .

Will this flower-mutant-Mythos also eat people?   :3

most of my daisy referencing actually springs from artwork by takashi murakami.

here's some examples:
http://beautyfashionlife.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/murakami1.jpg
http://cubeme.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/takashi-murakami-retrospective-moca1.jpg

be careful if you google his artwork, because some of his stuff is very NSFW. links in this post are safe, though.

he also did a promotional short-film for louis vitton (sp?). fashion may not be your cup of tea, but this is way more like 'small girl in psychadelic panda and daisy wonderland with awesome music by fantastic plastic machine' than it is 'omg, shoes.'

Did anyone else notice the strategically placed wingtip?

I mean, she's a *plant*, it's not like it's covering anything, but it makes it look kind of dirty. >:3

Many species of plants have separate male and female plants -- maybe Anna's bunch decided to cut out the various pollinating middlemen and have all the fun themselves. Also, take a close look at many flowers (orchids and irises especially) and tell me what they really look like (see most of Georgia O'Keeffe's flower paintings for examples).

Aleolus

Wow, that's some high   :erk  I gotta try somma that stuff, it looks awesome!

I guess DP isn't willing to accept flowers from giant rampaging beasts or a small phenox.

When in doubt, daisy! I'm just enjoying a fleeting glimpse of DMFAIS which, although it would rock, would also cause the universe to implode.

Or maybe it would require bees to make it dirty? :D

Despite the fact that she's a plant, would there be some stigma attached to running around naked?

...what, are you suggesting she wear a fig leaf to cover herself?

That question has kind of been asked before. Since allot of people in the DMFA-verse are taurs and such and thus unable to wear many clothes, there is no nudity taboo. Matilda goes around wearing nothing at malls and such and no one notices because she is a taur.
As Phyasrisulis, a feral, sentient fox character I made put it 'Clothes are a biped thing'. :)
Amber-ism #700: If the problem isn't solved, there are still survivors you missed.

rocket_red1

actualy, it says some just think that clothes are stupid...

tiggertoo

Matilda explains a bit about Furrae clothes or the lack thereof in her mini-arc: http://www.missmab.com/Demo/Fashion01.php

rocket_red1

Yep, that is a good point. Well, any other questions people are going to ask that are answered on the site?
