Well, whatever works is best.  I must admit I'm a sucker for consistency though and A4 is better for people like me who are interested in hardcopying them.  >:3

Of course, as Llearch said (and I somehow missed off my own post last night) it's your baby so ultimately what matters is that you enjoy doing it.

True that a4 is better for hardcopies, but you should see my sketchbook, it's filled with margins.. =p..

this works better for me time-wise, since i've already made a week's worth of updates, working on a fourth comic, and mocking up a 3d model for use as the main set piece and background for later issues...
(i use a kitbashing type of modelling program that lets me put together more complex set pieces for the comic.. the one i'm working on is the most complex so far..)

i'm also preparing a piece for free comic book day, so that's genuinely made for dead tree format.  >:3

Oh snap, now you've dashed my hopes of coming close.

EDIT: On another note, I seem to recall a photoshop automated command thingie that used a series of functions and filters on a selected space to create a "custom" planet and its atmosphere, but I've long lost and forgotten it as it was back almost 6-7 years ago.

thanks, it was a bit of practice before i made this:

Wow.  If that thing is inhabited they're going to have some very, very strange tidal effects.  The big one is probably going to be able to warp the crust so it's likely very prone to daily earthquakes and a lot of volcanic activity.  I'm not sure I'd want to live there  >:3

By the way, did you ever get anywhere with the commission experiments?

King Of Hearts

Interesting weaponry, lovely Naginata variant if not a bit busy design.

all a matter of perspective my magnetic tape-wrapped friend.  >:3 i plan to make the moons "smaller" according to planetside views.

i'm getting there, i haven't drawn much in the way of quadrapeds before (let alone 'taurs) , so i'm in need of a fair bit of practice..   :mowdizzy  The lack of any how-to's and simple directions on the internet isn't helping the situation, either.

yeah, the weapon's design is a bit busy, it has an offensive, as well as decorative, purpose...

EDIT: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/Turnsky/taurssketchy.jpg

meh, could've done better, could've done worse.. i guess.

I think it's very good.  Not quite what I had in mind I'll admit, but most definitely a 'taur and at least one order of magnitude better than I could do myself.
Anyway, if you're accepting the commission we'll have to get down to brass tacks, payment, format, resolution etc.

Yeah, I gathered that.. what I really meant was that if you're taking it on, I'd better tell Kitome who's going to be doing it, since it's going to be his character and he might want to offer you some guidance for the actual commission  :3

Nicely done. Something seems slightly out withthe musculature, but I'm not sure if that's design or not.

Nor can I put my finger on it, precisely. Maybe later...

True, but even so, the fur isn't then supposed to -create- muscles where there aren't any.

eg, the calf, or the left edge of the buttock...

Not that I'm trying to be picky, I'm just saying what looks slightly out of place...

(speaking of which, I haven't seen any of your chars being... soaked to the skin, with a ratty tail due to the effect... :-)

Hmm.  Not much good to Mary, but would a Manitou be able to dry themselves quickly by shifting to human form?  (Wonders if that work on a DMFA Were or a 'cubi...)

just some random sketchyness and probable fanservice..

Yes, that's pretty nice although I do have to agree with Llearch that there's something funny about that leg.
