Ooooh, sketchy goodness :3 Very nice pic, Turnsky. Great linework

Turnsky

okay, another one for ze sketchbook, bengahl himself, long story involving this one, and potentially one of the more important (but never elaborated upon) characters in my comic's storyline.

note, my bengahli race were always winged, "wendigo" in the bengahli native tongue, is a dialect bastardisation of a much older word, in layman's terms it refers to those "born without wings"

Dragons, it's what's for dinner... with gravy and potatoes, YUM!
Sparta? no, you should've taken that right at albuquerque..

Very nice.  I'd wager that was done on a tablet, yes?

Now that is interesting... I've just noticed that the feet are plantigrade.  I'll have to see if I can find a shot of Tekhan's feet, but the wendigo most definitely have digitigrade feet...

Not necessarily. It depends on the design of the boots that were mentioned a while back.

.. I'll admit they -look- plantigrade. But, on the other side of the coin, there's the fact that most of the boots that the artist sees are plantigrade, too, so he may not have a mental concept of what a digitigrade boot looks like. :-)

Also bear in mind your average boot does have to deal with, say, a ladder...

Oh, he does.  I'll have to find it, but they do get digitigrade shoes later on in the strip...

IIRC, they got offered, but nobody actually stumped up, so to speak, with the hardware.

Unless it was offscreen, which is possible.

Not the best shot, but:

..and for balance, this:

..which looks rather like a regular boot, but the rifle makes it hard to be sure.

bengahl has plantigrade feet, like we humans do, it's not an uncommon thing amongst my comic's races, Manitou are much the same, in reality the diversity between plantigrade and digitgrade in both the bengahli and manitou races are pretty much like right or left handedness with most people today, basically it's up to how i draw them, really.  :3

Yeah, I figured it would suck to shapeshift from human to anthro form and have your feet in the wrong kind of shoe >:3

I was going to ask about the commissions, but if you're pressed for time I'll leave it a bit.

it's more a compounding fact that my computer does a -brilliant- job at heating my room, so much so that even with proper ventilation, i pratically suffocate, being that it's particularly humid right now (damn you summer!), i'm finding it hard to drive myself to work on my comic, let alone commissions, etc.

i'll be buying myself a portable air conditioner soon that'll rectify that problem quicksmart.

Vent it outside.

That's the single biggest thing you can do to make it more effective.

largish update, since i've been rather indisposed as of late....long, sad story attached to that one..
anywho, something from my efforts in DOGA, a free 'kitbashing' 3d program..

I'm assuming the blueness on the spaceship's canopy is some kind of force barrier rather than glass?

I like the cavern, although to be honest it does remind me of the UC in Deus Ex.  Is it some kind of power plant?

Yeah.  I must say, you really pulled out all the stops on that one.  I don't think I've seen that much detail in any of the foxfire stuff, except possibly some of the frontispieces.  It's come out amazingly well.

Who's it for?

(btw, I like the lake that's going to be there after the gate in your comic...)
