Not surprised Pyroduck has been put off his cake.  Sometimes I worry that my own writing has become a bit dark, and then something like this comes along and puts it all back into perspective.

I'm going to assume that it takes billions or trillions of years for a dimension to collapse.  Either way it puts a cap on things and makes it all seem a bit pointless... unless the inhabitants of the dimension become powerful enough to migrate elsewhere, of course...

Seems to me Pip should be nicer to Mab, considering she is his only way out of an eternity of suffering.  It also seems that 'powerless' includes being indestructible, as otherwise they could simply get themselves killed as a way out. Unless, of course, they are then bound to the same plane in spirit form, like warp-aci.

You've got to wonder though, what did he do to warrant such a punishment?

Mab just name dropped another Race. Chimera. I guess they are one of the others that stand on Equal Terms with Fae and Dragons. Now did she say there were 3 all powerful reality traveling races or that there were 3 besides the Fae? Because if it was the latter there is one we know nothing of yet.

p.1735 says that there are three races than can go toe-to-toe with the Fae, which says to me it's the latter.
There is also another mention of Chimeras.

Do not worry for the darker tone the story has taken. We need the dark with the light, so that we may appreciate the light and the overall story.

While this sounds a bit cliche, it does not make it any less true.
Unfortunately this sorta saying also goes for life, so there's that... yay?:/

When Mab first mentioned the other races, she mentioned Demons alongside Fairy Folk, Dragons, and Chimeras. I guess they've been identified and are quite different from the demons we know...

On the one hand, dragons are awesome. On the other hand, that punishment sounds terrifying D:

Some of those lost in the void undergo... changes... madness takes them, the primordial chaos seeps into their being and mutilates every facet of their existence...

And that's where Discord came from, kiddies!

Then he got invited into another world via a little sliver of a breach when the Sunstone exploded!

Ya want more?  Go read my story "Metamorphosis".   ;)

Every now and then, one inhabitant survives the collapse and exists into the next world which emerges from the rebound.

Oddly, they all get named 'Galactus'.   ;)

Or "Relic", if they're unlucky enough to be the DC knockoff of Galactus.
Am I the only person who thinks that Mr. Roboto rusts out and eventually becomes the Ironman?

No not that Ironman, the other one!
