So Dracula is basically a Lich?

Since there are virtually no difference between how Dracula and a Lich works.

I guess in theory... yeah, they are more or less the same. As per the AD&D 2nd Ed rules, a lich would need some place to store their essence (a jar or other storage container to keep a pure strain of their soul, their magic). That allows them to continue living even after a form of their body is killed. n that respect, yeah, Dracula is a lich.

A vampiric lich, really.
