I've just returned from a gruelling journey, so this may not be entirely coherent, but today is, I think, the third anniversary of the DMFA Radio Project.  We still don't have a third full-length episode, but what I do have to help commemorate it is a video of our last release, 'Recipe for Disasters'.

We're three years old already? Yay! :bday

Great work on the videos. :mowcookie

Small nitpick... 299 is still using the ancient, three-year-old recording of Ed. :dface Also, the Z in my name isn't a fully voiced consonant. It's softer, and closer to a S sound than a Z in English pronunciation.

By the way, is it only the 3rd part with a high quality version available? The video on the others looks very blurred by comparison.
The same thing we do every night, Pinky...

Very nice work.  The first part made me laugh, and the last bits which carried some of the one-gag strips were also pretty chuckle-worthy.  I did wonder sometimes if the voices went a little slow, but I guess I'm more used to reading them faster than hearing them...still good work on the part of the actors.

Also, gratz to three years of the Radio Project.  :3

Do watch the others when you can.  Seriously... it really gets into gear after the first part.

That's because I used the original recording.  The one and only change I made to the soundtrack was re-inserting the 'A potion?' line, which looks like it got left on the floor when I did the gap editing.

But I'll try to bear the 'Teskat' thing in mind for the future.

Ugh, youtube probably did that.  I do have the second part up in high-res on a private server, and I'll be uploading the other two now.  These are the files as uploaded to YT.
I also have a DV version of the entire thing, but since that won't even fit on a DVD, uploading it is out of the question.

Probably.  Sometimes I'm surprised at how much longer saying something takes compared to reading it.  That said, some of Alexsi's lines in part 2 were kind of strung out to keep it locked against the score - our replacement Alexsi's readings are a bit faster than the earlier voice which the scene was designed against.

I know.  I can't get to that server from work, either... it looks like at least one of BT's services is blocking it for some reason.  Unfortunately I don't have space anywhere else.  I believe the address is 92.48.69.9 but it's probably a virtual server so just using the IP might not work.

Hmm. Access from 217.151.109.107 to that IP gets no response. Access to the URL from 212.13.222.185 works perfectly.

And yes, you got the IP address correct.

Very strange.

quite nice, although the voice acting was lackluster at spots i can see how hard some lines are and fully understand.

while there were many parts i really liked, the one i remember the best was when dan had the little kid voice, that was cute.

it really is nicer to see and hear at the same time, listening to just the radio side can get disorienting, i hope to see more of this in the future as it is made of awesome.

QuoteThere was something awesome in the thought of the solitary mortal standing by the open window and summoning in from the gloom outside the spirits of the nether world.
Some will fall in love with life,
and drink it from a fountain;
that is pouring like an avalanche,
coming down the mountain.
