"So they put me in a hospital gown, and painted a cross over one eye.  Then they wheeled me into room full of people, all of whom were dressed in a white gown with a cross over one of their eyes.  It was like being in a cult."
-My father, describing his cataract operation.

Alpaca visit?

There's a local fellow who brings his alpacas to the hospital to visit patients to cheer them up. It's pretty much the greatest thing ever!

That does sound pretty awesome, the closest I've heard of something like that was a few places that sometimes brought in dogs.
