16-01 - "I take it she was agreeable...?" "She didn't really have a choice."
I was expecting the wrinkles, but not quite that much grey. Given her profession, I was not expecting it to be old age to be the wound she needed help healing. I guess she really IS just that good.  :3
Conservative Democrat or Liberal Republican: You decide!
The Centrist line has moved a long way to the Right over the years.

I'd argue that's a horribly shallow argument, except it's completely true. ~ooklah

So I forget how much of the backstory I helped work out for this story is revealed, but I doubt this is too much of a spoiler: Aisha was very active even in her old age. She did in fact get nigh-fatally wounded in a fight. x3

...I did NOT see that coming. And I usually have a keen plot twist sense. Well played indeed.

I can see her getting on well with EVA from Metal Gear Solid 4.

My first thoughts on 16-02 were "That is not typically what they mean by 'growing pains'." when it came to the second panel.

On a more serious note I'm happy they worked things out and have come to terms with their new self.

I'm oddly reminded of that scene from X-Men: The Last Stand when young Warren Worthington's mutation had recently manifested.

16-03 - Bouncing back

Can anyone remind me how long it took Jakob to clear up the misconceptions of his time as Johan Cross? I remember that one altercation with the Demon fanboy and that spot of vandalism with the statue, but that's about it.

16-05 - He did not read the fine print

🎶Shoulda read the fine print, my friend
Shoulda read the fine print🎶

In all seriousness, it's nice to see this page coloured at last.

It is like they say, it is all fun and games until someone loses a head.

16-06 - A rarely-seen tender moment between Jakob and Daxxon

"Are you fucking filming us right now?!!"

Raskahn

16-08 - No, they are not AI datacentres

Jakob bringing a physical power point presentation is so on point and its these slight nods to the insanity of corporate life on this site that just never disappoints.

It'll be interesting to see how the mystery of the bogus bounties gets solved.
