So a large blended family, a father figure who most likely wasn't fit for the job, and an as-yet unknown political climate. I can see no way for this to go sideways in a truly epic fashion.  :mwaha

Yeah, I'd want out of there too if I was obliged to take someone's head. Particularly if that someone was an adoptive sibling/fellow 'pet'.
