The irony is so thick they're trying to manufacture it in bulk for armor plating.

Also... I think we might have found out how Dan managed to turn Lost Lake pink:
He dared and/or tricked Mab into touching the stove.

04-08 - Protogen Revolution

Now I'm curious if the Progenitor hardliners get together to plot atrocities against Protogen neighbourhoods or the suchlike...

Now you've got me curious how the showdown went. The particulars, I mean.

Come to think of it, Mab's wings and antennae weren't affected either, even though her body was. Maybe the immunity to bee stings was the prize and the immunity to colour changes was an accident!

Well I don't particularly care for Hizell actions or how he treats his people I actually came here to make a joke on Wiley and her many many immunities.

The joke was going to be widely friend of Faye and winner of many poker games. I wonder how many of these communities she won off of mab or Azlan

Quote from: Radagast on April 10, 2026, 12:42:14 PMThe panel definitely read as ironic to me, like she was unaware of just how well her criticism applied to her own home.

"So full of hostility" - Considering Hizell's territory has a 'death decree' for Cubi, has an open bounty on Abel for simply being Cubi, and is sending monthly assassins at his son because said son rejects that genocidal attitude...

"Realize how exploited they are" - from the girl in the 'death cult' devoted to Hizell who know damn well that he is throwing one of their lives away every month just to send his son an ineffectual message about how displeased he is that Pyroduck doesn't share his genocidal whims.

Sincere in delivery? Probably, but very lacking in self-awareness.

See, I'm not so sure the plan is what it was back then. When Mab made her threat right before shattering his orb, she left that threat quite open ended on her part. Seeing her being a Fae led him to not leveling the inn and instead to testing it by attacking Ducky, I'm somewhat wondering if the plan has shifted any bit. (Edit: Though looking back. He wasn't set on destroying the inn. But he didn't like the option being unavailable because Mab was there.)

There's also the little bit that Tasha seems to be treating the entirety of this little outing as a vacation while knowing quite a bit more that is going on around here then she lets on. So, her going there seems a bit more suspicious. Like the inn might not be a mission for her. So, I do kind of wonder if she even knows about Ducky or maybe she's just curious about what her other sisters are up to who are sent to the inn.

That's certainly possible.  Another possibility is that she funded/sponsored it, given that her son was missing and possibly dead, and her husband definitely so.  Aniz claimed that she'd been left with a substantial sum of money, so it's possible that she gave some of it to good causes.
In Abel's story (pt2 p77) Kria tells Abel that May chose to use her money on others, so I'm guessing she put a great deal of it into the community.

Soul-eating flowers. I don't know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn't that.
