I'd have to check, but as far as I know there aren't any rules against Mary-Sue-isms. Besides, this kind of thread has been done before without incident.
Admittedly, it might be a better idea if people just simply posted their preference and not a whole character profile. And if it turns into a fight it will get shut down, that's pretty much guaranteed.

Sorry. I just thought that it was assumed that a majority of people would want to be someone similar to Dan. I mean, it's understandable: Amber has only really gone into any detail about Cyra clan 'Cubi, Dan is a complex character, he's the protagonist and everything. Heck, even I want to be a Cyra clan 'Cubi, which is exactly why I wouldn't make a thread about it. If something is a common trait, then why would you have to discuss it?
I guess both in here and my original post I was a little rude, and since then I checked the posts and it looks like I'm wrong about it being the majority opinion. So sorry then!

the reason i said about my guy being from Dan's clan is that before i joined the forum i would imagine i was really a cubi that was born with headwinds and all his powers and i was brought to this universe to keep evil from getting their hands on me to use me for evil and that i found out before i was suppose to and i was from Dan's clan
Assuming you don't want to know about the character that I use as my 'fursona', I'd have to say if I was directly translated into a character in Furrae there's a strong chance I'd either be just a regular being like everyone else or

I dunno' the classification, but I identify most with Draconians (from Dragonlance). I guess they'd be Half-Dragons; humanoid shape but with reptillian head, scales/claws/horns, and wings.
As to power level, I like the anime-esque over-the-top theatrics of Exalted. :D
Adventurer sounds like too much hassle and too much death-risk, so prolly a blacksmith being selling weapons.
If I were to go for something cool, it would be a Were training in the martial arts as being, while occasionally hunting in animal form. I got this thing for wolves you see. And tigers. Especially the white ones. Pwetty... :mowmeep
Cubi, Demon, Angel, Fae all aren't that interesting really. Dunno why people would go for those.
Though I wouldn't mind hanging out with an open-minded Demon or a not-too-hostile Cubi.
Among all the races, I think mythos is the one I most relate to.

If I existed in Furrae? It would be as an inter dimensional traveler, which would be hard to classify as being/creature. But it wouldn't matter. All I would do is set up in a little building on the side of some road with a sign that says, "Questions Answered".

Heh. Shaving is probably more like the ears-and-tails thing--something you do for cons or hide under clothing in public. Hardcord human fans would splurge on a patch or morphing amulet. :3
As for myself, various incarnations of my own eponymous character are scattered throughout the RP forum. Even if I did have to pick a personal one and say "This is me in Furrae", it would probably still be a Cubi. Shapeshifting, telepathic, soul-eating monsters are just totally my style. Second choice would be scheming Angel type. (Course, I could have it both ways with an Angel/Cubi hybrid, but I digress... :animesweat)
The funny thing is... I don't really relate to many of the canon Cubi characters. Dan is too into his clichéd reluctant monster thing, and I was never terribly fond of the door-kicking fighters. Aaryanna is way off in the other direction. Abel is someone you can be gay for but don't really want to
be. Fa'Lina is practically a demigod and doesn't count. The only one who really does it for me as a Cubi role model is Destania.
I always view this as what I would 'want' to be, well what I want to be is a dragon!
I often rather like to think what I would be like if I was a different race, how my personality would be like after being shaped by the culture and habits of this race. Being a being, tee hee, for instance I view as a base person model so I imagine myself being still me and reacting to creatures as I imagine I would if still here as a human acknowledging that magic has always been around though. If a being, I'd likely end up undead because I don't value death and seeing as it's a fine way to break the aging process better to get it done now rather than when I've shrivelled to nothing!

She adventures on occasion, but the needs of her order always come first if she has to choose between "work" and "play." One of her favorite things to do is to lead the "singing" during a full moon service.

My guess is a winged lizard mythos. Going by Pyroduck's example, they generally shift between uber-sized-dragon and being, rather than a miniature-dragon state.

But I have to make something clear, DeByrus is a dragon character, a winged, fire-breathing one. I suppose dragon-o-philes can argue the types but that's what he says. I'd also llike to offer some more images (these are all Amber's) of said character, and also mention that the difference in size between Rafe and DeByrus in DMFA as Amber drew them is pretty much the same as that between me and the Real-Life DeByrus.

At age 23 he was on an adventure searching for a group of were ho raided a near by town, during his search the were attacked him and riped of his amulet revealing his back and head wings. Shocked by this discovery he hid for several months in an abandoned mansion hoping to die or to never be found, fearing he might start to hunt others. One day he was discovered by a rather confused warp-aci who teleported to the wrong place, the warp-aci teleported him to SAIA were he finally accepted the fact that he is a cubi. After learning the basics of being a cubi he returned to the outside world but his time of separation from the world and being surrounded by cubi changed him. He is now more of a loner creping in the shadows. But he has restarted his curer as an adventurer but instead of simple killing his opponents he devours their souls and amuses him self in their suffering.

a blade of one-atom-thick steel, and cut through the air, by pushing the surrounding
atoms apart, there would be a split-second where -nothing- would be there. In physics,
this would be (by modern scientific standards) a type of void where one could even
say that you have ruptured the space-time continuum. Sadly, as we know nothing about
what could happen, even if we could make the gap bigger before the atoms just go back
in their place, the most anyone could hope for is to be able to study it, as the "portal"
one would have created would have no destination, thus one wouldn't be an intelligent
person (if there is even enough space to fit through) to jump through it. If it got bigger,
we would be talking about world-swallowing voids here. Just thought I'd share my wierd
theory.

I assume you mean Furrae physics? Because there's no sense I can think of in which actual real physics says that pushing air out of the way with a monotomic thick blade -> rupture of spacetime.

after it has been there. Basically, create a disturbance in space-time, only suffiecient to measure
and study said wake (before the surrounding atoms move back into place, closing the wake)

Sorry, still not following. Even if it can slice and push all matter out of the way, why would that lead to a nontrivial effect on the geometry of spacetime? I mean, yes, the equations of general relativity do imply that motion, not just density, is relevant to the effects of matter on spacetime, but I still don't quite see what you're saying here. Originally a test to see what would happen should a Dragon inherit Incubus traits while retaining the Draconic traits, the experiment went horribly wrong (See the less accident and more...Accident...). Brownie's intelligence grew and grew until at a point, I realised I was a mere experiment. I began to plot my own escapes. Many failed attempts ensued due to many magic barriers.
After many failed attempts, I got smarter...Again...And managed to escape. With relative ease this time. I flew high above everything for a time, avoiding contact with creatures and beings alike. I observed everything below me and noticed I was near to the only one of my species. I stayed hidden away for a time, collecting my thoughts and planning my next move.
After all this time I have emerged and am waiting to see how Furrae reacts to me.

i used to help moderate a Creative Group Writing RP (CGWRP), reviewing character sheets, making sure they were able to fit into the setting, and not too overpowered, spotting logic faults, and so on..

And since I allowed myself to be pulled in to this topic, if I was in Furrae, I would be whatever Being/Creature the fates placed on me. As I had no say in the conditions or circumstances in my creation in RL, so I fear it would be so in Furrae.
