This topic was made to ask one question...
Who is/are your favorite DMFA Characters?
Mine would be Aary, Wildy, Fa'lina, and Mab.
Others= :3 Lorenda
My favorites from that list... :3
Dan: 'Cause he's a main character and the one who seems to have the most bad luck. You gotta love a character with so many questions about his life and still seems to go through it with a bit of stride.
Jyrras: 'Cause he's such a little cutie, but also very intelligent, and therefore goes with the whole "don't judge one by their looks" factor. He'd have to be just a LITTLE proud of himself to have the whole Creature council up in concerns about him. :B
Abel: I just liked this guy ever since I first saw him. And 'cause of his personality he's fun to try and follow.
Pyroduck: A time traveler, mysterious, and a DRAGON. What's not to like? :U
Right now? Pyroduck. >:3
To be bluntly...Fluffy....She always has something on her mind...And oh yeah..Ink...You gotta love the fox cubi
Other- Pip. Grrrrrrrrr....
Pyroduck, Merlitz and Azlan in no particular order... and Mab for the cuteness and insanity.
Matilda... I don't know... Oh, yeah..because I remember she's blue! :)
probably Wildy and Dan after that or something. I have no idea why they're my favorites though.... :B
Merl, Dan, Abel and Destania.
**EDIT**
Curious.. they're all felines. But I must admit it was that weird ad with the shot of Abel early in the SAIA arc which led me here. I was like "what the hell is that?"
Abel's my current fav after getting through all of the archives (Finally!). Not only is he awesome looking, but he actually has a funny and intriguing personality too! No, I'm not gay for him, but I can see why some of you guys are... >:3
However, Dan wins for still being freaking hilarious most of the time for over 700 comics. Now let's see if he'll make it through another 700... :mwaha
Kria.
I find the whole demon-mare thing hawt :3
Alexi: 'cause my name's Alex :3 And anyone who can wield a hammer larger than their head should not be messed with :U
Abel: 'cause his was the first arc I started from the beginning...I think he used his mind controll powers to make me keep reading :<
Aaryanna: 'cause I said so
Pyroduck. 'Cuz he's a dragon.
Pip. 'Cuz he's a dragon.
Abel. 'Cuz I'm gay for him [like most of the forumites :B]
...And Jyrras. 'Cuz he's cute. :3
Wildy, Azlan, Merlitz, Mab.
Wildy, mostly. Pip comes in a close second, with Abel and Aaryanna selected as third and fourth. Aary mainly because my friend likes her so much, it's kinda rubbed off.
Others=Lorenda and Kira I found them very hot and sexy.
Abel wiiiinnnnnnnnnnssssssss :D
Matilda. That mischievous cobra-taurette is exactly the sort of support Dan needs.
Fa'lina, for her personality.
Also, Mab, since she's a little bit less-innocent sometimes; and I do enjoy her sordidly sweet evil grin.
Abel & Pyro.
Pyro because... well, he's a bit of a mystery - or has been - and reminds me of Doctor Who in a few ways.
Abel because... poor guy's gone through a lot. But he still manages to be a complete ass! That which does not kill him only makes him stronger.
For me, it would be Jyrras, mainly since I do resemble him in more than one way. Just a half nut case experimenter, from electronics, programming, and rockets (working on getting my high power certification in early 2007). Almost any scientiffic subject can get me interested, and I have a habit of finding out on my own how things work, even the most complicated stuff. Heck i've managed to crack the workings of Star Trek's warp drive, albight in a simplistic (no full study or power requirements) but the actual way one of these things could be built. Nice thing that I had the confirmation that I was right from a physicist that published a number of pieces relating to the subject. Other than that, I'm an amputee, so technically without my prosthesis i'm almost the same height as Jyrras :P.
Dan is also one of my favorite characters also, and the worst thing is that I've also got a friend that's almost a copy of him, at least in behaviour. If he's at a party or anywhere for that matter, all things break down and general insanity takes control, especially if he decideds to have a bit of a drinking contest...
Abel, Jyrras, Wildy and Dan
they are my fav :mowmeep
pyro and merlitz = fire! well... don't know if pyro is fire elemental, but still, FIRE!
You need a better list. None of my favorites are there. Mine would be:
- Kria Soulstealer
- Fa'Lina
Both of them are very complex and well-developed characters. I'd also throw in :
- Azlan
- Paragator
They're probably my favorites as far as humor.

Who wants to see Lorenda and Kira in a bikini? I put my hands up for that motion who else?

Not sure if Kira has one but amber did draw Lorenda:

hmm... I'm positive I've posted here before...
My favorites:
Dan: Kinda' like me when I'm with my friends.
Jyrass: We've similar pasts, He didn't make many friends because of his sisters, I don't make many friends because I'm too different than others, But the friends we've made have all been really good.
Merl: Whenever I'm actually serious I'm a bit like him.
Wildy: She's the female equivalent to a friend of mine... Kinda scary really.

I love it she is so sexy there. Now if Kira could pose in a bikini shot thanks Drake for that pic that made my day.
Dan, 'cause well, to quote Fighter from 8BT: "I like swords.".
Mab 'cause she's well, Mab.
Abel 'cause his ability to be a jerk and/or sarcasm his way into, through, and out of any situation, not to mention his ability to confuse or just out-right keep all people except a select few away and at bay so they don't get to know him, reminds me of... er, someone I work with.
Merl 'cause fire mages rawk.

Dan?
I'd suggest Abel, but he'd make it look good....
Fa'Lina
She may be half crazy because she is semi-omnicient, but she's got it together with her goal of making the world a safer place for all cubi.
Alexsi: I at first didn't pay much attention to her, but after reading the current arc, I've grown a huge soft spot for her. Oddly enough, I seem to have quite the affection for underappreciated characters.
Abel: I don't think this one needs any further explanation. I adore sarcastic, snarky characters, heck, I even have a few of my own. His backstory is entertaining to read, he's a fun character in general, and he probably has the best character design in the whole cast so far with the spots, the wings, and the heterochromatic eyes.
Pyroduck: See Alexsi. Since his backstory is slowly being constructed, as is the nature of his identity, I've also developed a sort of appreciation for him. Though, to begin with, I always did like him for no real reason.
Wildy: Okay, I've always loved her for her sheer amount of EVILness. Nuff said.
I would've fit Fa'Lina and Matilda in that list, too, but I couldn't fit them. Dang. D:

Problem is, "Other" is only one choice on the list. If I have four characters not on the list, I should be able to vote for "Other" four times, but you can't, so your results are way off. I'd say "other" should have two or three times the count it has now.
Dan: Hes always been a likable charrie to me, because of his quirks and whatnot. *smiles*
Abel: Because lets face it, hes always amusing. :3
Wildy: Because that much evilness in one charrie deserves some love!
Mab: Dont see too much of her sometimes, but whats not to love about sheer adorable insanity?
1. Jyrras
2. Dan
3. Pip (because he allways attacks Dan for no reason at all)
Wildy to be sure. Ferret. Evil. We weaseloids need to stick together... at least loosely, just enough to be a problem.

Tut, and I figgured he was a wolf. He's my other favorite, deliciously sadistic. Likes tea as well.
This was really hard. I've never really played favorites with DMFA characters before. But I guess it'd be these guys for these reasons.
Abel: A lot of my favorite characters are like him: good guys, generally, but with a capability for evil that's always there. The second I saw Abel's profile picture, I knew he'd be that kind of character. His sarcasm and man-skirtedness just make him even more attractive. But he's also kind of a comedic character, like with his reaction to being nosebeeped. He makes me laugh and do fangirl-squeals at the same time.
Mab: She's random and huggable and awesome - ka-duh! But there's more about her to love than her personality. She's the only one who not only faced Ink and lived without mental scarring, but also got him into a tea party! Add to that that she can keep Pip calm and not killing-stuff somehow and you realize that not only is she funny and sweet, but also pretty powerful. Cool.
Wildy: She reminds me a lot of how I act with my brothers. Also, her switching from sweet and friendly to ripping off appendages is fun to watch. She's devious, crafty and able to kill stuff. All good things in my book!
And last, but not least....
Ink: ...I've always liked bad guys. Not just bad guys, but the bad guys who even though they're evil and sadistic, they are so cool that you end up loving them and wishing they did evil stuff more often. Imagining Ink's voice gives me chills, and it's always amusing to see Abel's reactions to him.

But sexy to boot also Kira I give two thumbs up for. I think Wildly is sexy when I have a girlfriend who goes topless when she is playing a vid game or walking around the house like that then i'm there as a boyfriend towards her.

Well she got a few points just dating Dan alone that's aplus on her side.
Yes on the Weapons and gadgets and stuff but also that we have some what a lot in common.
I love them all including the zombies at DMFA.

I don't have the answer to that but I know TW have that archive in question about zombies.

There is I saw them when the dan and his party went to invitigate a creature attacking people that's when Arriana first appeared before that that's when the party meet that zombie. And the next time is that sitiuation when Dan was at the bar and the Zombie was there giving him advice I know this cause i read the archives but I don't know whick episode and number I apoligize for my lazyness. That's why I ask TW he knows this stuff and where it is.
Nope. No zombies there either.
From what I understand, We're not being charged to view the comic, therefore it'd fall under a "non-profit" clause. So you can pretty much run wild with cameos, but you just couldn't make t-shirts with said characters on them.
Otherwise, you'd have to arrest 4.5 fifths of Japan.

there's the brazilian commercial comic Holy Abenger, they make cameos of famous animes and games all the time and hadn't got any complaint so far. I believe simple cameos fall under the fair use clause.
whoops, wrong topic sorry bout that.
Need No. other wise ill be clueless like about the time abel went goth
Abel going goth was in #549.
Aridas, I believe ShiningShadow is talking about Cid, who appears in #212 (the first reference to Zombies) and also in #316 ("Woo, wiggly!")
But is he a zombie, or Undead (the DMFA race)?
Does that even count, being that far back?

Yes that count's if it in the realm or archives then its counts.
So you're going to tell me that before, or just before, amber ever decided to come up with an established race system for DMFA, all that stuff counts at face value.

Ah, now that would make sense. Read at face value your earlier post sounds like you were claiming the arcs where Aaryana was introduced and Dan became an incubus were non-canon, which is absurd :B
Don't forget, many (if not most) of the forum readership post-date that arc.
I didn't know when Amber set up the race system, and I've made a habit of learning everything I can about DMFA.
True... But I can't remember one having been established that far back, unless it ha and it's farther back where we don't know.

But the info that far back we could use that as a starting point for the establishment of the characters isn't what character developement is all about. Or maybe I'm wrong on this matter anyway i'm sticking what I just said in the begining of the sentence.
I like 'em all! But I'm going to be cliche and vote for Abel. Why? I like the way he thinks I guess. I'd like to say we think alike, but I'm just not all that sure about that just yet.
Abel, by a landslide. He's nice, yet brutally honest, and a total shut in. He has a lot of wisdom to dispense, yet he has plenty of his own inner demons to deal with. Reminds me a lot of myself, really.
Jyrras is a close second, without a doubt.
Okay I'll look in to that.
