We have been invaded.

6 Road Island Red Hens have invaded my back yard

Its funny they even laid an egg in the car on the way home

We are, on the advice of the provider, going to be confining the girls to there coop for the next 3-4 days. This is so they imprint on the coop, and roosts, so we don't get them laying eggs randomly through the yard, and trying to roost in the trees.

So far the girls don't have names, we have one scardy hen who hides in the coop when we come out and five friendly docile girls.

They seem to like the Coop,

Ej our goober dog seems to really wanna see them, every time he goes out to use the rest room he first runs over to the coop to see how they are doing

And the Kitty Salem thinks they are horrible murder burds

I like how the one shuts up when you start clucking. :3

Also, your cat is 20 years old!?

LOL YEAH that's the scaredy hen.  She sits in the coop and mouths off if she notices us outside.

And yeah he's atleast 20 years old.   The old man still acts like a kitten most times though

Dang, he looks pretty good for his age. Most cats I've known haven't lived to be 15.

He does doesn't he.   He's got alot of white hairs on that black pelt,  and his eye sight is terrible (and his breath may be lethal). But he is doing wonderful for his age
