My puppy had an injury

About two months ago My pup EJ injured his leg playing with another dog

We though his hip was hurt so we started treating with glucosamine to suport his joints after a few weeks he was still reacting the same way so we brought him to see the vet.

Turns out it wasn't his hip, instead he blew out his knee. same injury as many football players get. the vet had to replace the tendon, reshap the bones and put in a metal plate.

2,800 dollars for the surgery, damn I don't know how well manage to pay for it.



After the knee surgery EJ has to take it easy. Which is hard for him, in many ways hes still a puppy. Salem the cat has been helping him out. Hes not allowed to go up stairs so I have to walk him out on a leash every time he has to go to the bathroom then carrying him up stairs back into the house. pluss there is the physical therapy 3 times aday, hot packing his leg and stretching the muscles.

But hes a good boy

we cant wait till its warmer the vet said swimming is the best exercise for him



But the good thing is EJ is doing good. He hates that since the surgery he's restricted in what he can do but he's still a happy boy.
