Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-haaa!  Daryil, that was just evil.  Congratulations.  >:3

I love the expressions here, especially Fendrick's.  In the last panel he looks like he just swallowed a live arachspearian.  That, or he just had a litter of lizards.  One of the two.  Heh.  I can't wait to see what happens next.   :eager

I do have to wonder about the Subtle Paw's wisdom in leaving their commandos' (for lack of a better term), tails un-armored.  Any half-trained 'Cubi should be able to slice one off with a tentacle.  Granted, it's not a killing blow, like cutting the throat or stabbing through the heart.  But it's still one hell of a distraction, to say nothing of the shock and blood loss.  Also, I would imagine that Furraeans use their tails for balance.  True, they could learn to do without (we do, after all), but it would take time to learn, which the wouldn't have in a combat situation.

Fendrick was paranoid nut!

Dumb! Dumb! Dumb! Dumb! Dumb!

He gave Daryil a plan to take over the world.

Dumb! Dumb! Dumb! Dumb! Dumb!

I'm just laughing at Fendrick right now. Heheheheheheheh! :giggle
I perfer my spam cooked on a skillet.

well, according to the Hybrid Genetics entry for cubi, 'Cubi' isn't so much genetic as it is magical.. start breeding cubi with other races and you just get more Cubi.
so the plan, as outlined by Mr.Paranoid there, would never have worked.

of course, i doubt that many people in Furrae know how Cubi reproduction works outside of "cubi + being = Cubi kid"

I would imagine that Furraeans use their tails for balance.

If we're going with that: It would explain the lack of armor on the tails. The extra weight or restriction of movement would compromise balance.

Excellent point; I hadn't thought of that.  It occurs to me that armoring the tail might work if the armor is of the powered exo-skeletal type.  The tail moves, and the armor moves to keep up.  Of course, this being Furrae, they probably just magically shield their tails, and that's the end of it.  (Err, so to speak.  No pun intended.)

Well he could end up raising a bunch of cubi as beings. So that they know how to act in society better and have a reputation as a being.
Although that starts getting down into the Abel territory...
At any rate it's congrats to conspiracy theorist for giving someone insane a even more insane plan.

I believe Daryil is far more sane than he appears. Screwing with their heads on a grand scale like this would suit him down to the ground, for multiple reasons - it'll keep them offbalance, it'll make it easier for him to do whatever it is he _does_ want to do, it'll keep up his rep for insanity, and, if all else fails, it'll give him something to do for a couple hundred years (given Cubi lifespans) proving it won't work.

Ah yes. Making people believe you are insane when you really aren't. An approach that all Fae, especially Mab, are very familiar with.

I expect if flamethrowers exist, Matilda would be tempted to install one into her shower.

Yeah, I've thought for some time now that Daryil isn't as loony as he wants everybody to think he is.  There's a reason for the phrase, "crazy like a fox".  Plus, his reputation gives him an excuse to indulge in that age-old pastime, Freaking the Mundanes.  :-)  I'm sure he doesn't enjoy that, oh no my preciousss, he doesn't enjoys it, not at all, gollum.

So is he on the scale of DC's Joker sanity then? Where he's so sane and intelligent that anything he does do in the short term utterly appears insane?
