Of coarse, it seems like Moraine seems to know what's going through Hunter's mind. If I'd have to guess, I'd say this was less of a punishment and more of both reminding him of his actual duty here and getting him to do the job she actually assigned him.

Either that, or she's smiling at the fact that as if he were her own child after a good scolding and time out. Which come to think about it, might be even more likely.
