Let's hope Dp doesn't go on a rampage and kill the undead supermodels....
(actually I would like to see that, I hate supermodels and girls who like to act like them....)

Tapewolf

I wondered if that was a photoshop of Lorenda at first.

Lets hope it is not a photoshopped Lorenda. I would hate to think what Lorenda would do to the graphic artist responsible if it is her!

As a side note, Amber should get around to updating DP's cast page...

I assume that the title of the magazine is a parody of Cosmopolitan.

I assume that the title of the magazine is a parody of Cosmopolitan.

It's a parody of every women's mag you can find at any grocery store cash register impulse buy section. They only have so many headlines that they constantly keep re-using: "Diet tips to look hot this summer", "More sex positions you never heard of (because you don't watch enough porn)", "How to attract a guy", "How to keep the guy you have right now" and "(season) fashion you won't see anywhere but in this mag."

The whole demon regeneration process is starting to make me wonder how he died the first couple of times. I'm guessing Dan was pretty determined to make sure it happened AND a little too mad with rage to think that maybe he should burn the corpse to ash to keep him from coming back.

KV1NN4

I kindda think healing from an injury and healing from being dead are drastically different enough that the latter is considered quite difficult without some kind of assistance. And yeah I can imagine Dan was fairly determined to make sure Aliph was dead.

Soooo Regina's been supressing her ability to heal in favour of looking trendy? Tsk tsk that's a way to end up more dead than injured, missy.

All things considered I'm surprised the bone wing didn't itch/ache like crazy. Then again that could be the demon beauty/trendy equivalent of ultra 'hawt' high heels that turn ur feet into balls of pain 5 minutes after putting them on.

...mostly just posting to make sure I don't end up with a dead account again. 8P

I think Amber just developed a whole new face of "do not want" for Dark Pegasus.  Given his stance on the undead in general I don't see this going very well for Regina.

"Wait, you want to look like the freak-of-magic-abominations I accidentally created?!?"

psilorder

Is it just the eyes that tell the model is undead or am i missing something?
(thought bout "skinny = missing flesh" but couldn't find any)

Hmmmmm...Regina idealizes Undead out of fashion????

Regina can't tolerate Devon????

I can only imagine if there's something to that train of thought and how Devon's first meeting Regina went. Seems a little Abel and Aary to me. Just how closely is Abel aping his undead friends life?

Dark Pegasus is approaching his Professor Farnsworth moment of "I don't want to live on this planet anymore."  I feel bad for him, and at the same time, I cannot while the stupid smile off my face at the situation he is trapped in.  Pretty soon he'll be begging someone to come pick a fight with him just to escape Regina and her newfangled young people ideas!

*Charline hmms*  Get all the demons to make themselves undead... yes... YES!!  This would work greatly in our favor!  One less enemy race for us Cubi to eliminate!  Then we just have to deal with the dragons.  A clever plan indeed!
Three's a crowd:  One lordly leonine of the Leyjon, one cruel and cunning cubi goddess, and one utterly doomed human stuck between them.

I don't think they turn themselves into undead... I think what more or less happens is that the body is basically placed in a magical stasis, which makes them appear dead, but since the body never "died" if the stasis would be removed, the body keeps functioning as normal. Also only the teenagers (which is probably 100 years for demons) are the "jump down a well if others do it" types. (also that's a women's magazine, male demons probably don't do that) It also may clean the demon genepool of idiots.

Also good work Amber on combining 7 stereotypical women's magazines into 1, I loved the "using fire magic to light up the night" under the big red HOT HOT HOT

I was hoping that Regina has matured a bit and decided to grow her wing back, oh well.

Regina? Mature?

Oh, boy. Are _you_ ever in trouble. ;-]

It's perfect.  It's mocking the perfectly photoshopped anorexic supermodel industry, and doing so in the way that most disgusts Aliph, and is even oddly fitting.  It's perfect, and it's genius.  Day = made.  Thank you, Amber!

Honestly I was thinking less "more mature" and more "oh, frig!  That adventurer's son wants to KILL ME!" so she went looking for more options.

Very much this.
Reminds me of an older slovak humour song about a guy who wants a roentgen because on such a photo he'll look skinny - shows just a skeleton. For reference

I guess I gave Regina more credit than she deserved. I'd assumed she was going to try to change her appearance a little so she wouldn't have to live completely in hiding. Grow the wing back, and give her fur a dye job, poof! A different demon! At least, from a distance.
It would give her a better chance in a fight, too. Since it makes all the sense in the world for her to do that - she wouldn't.
Which would you like to be, ignorant or misled?

Common sense and Regina seem to not have words with one another.

I wonder if all demons like pain or just Regina because I don't think getting your skin filleted off your bones would be a walk in the park.

What's that saying... "Beauty is pain"?  "Normal" people get their hair torn out by the roots all the time in the name of beauty.  And demons are tough.  I imagine having her wing re-boned wouldn't be fun, but tolerable.  Just like plucking eyebrows.  Or getting your legs waxed.  She seems like that type.

And if that pain isn't tolerable, there's always anesthesia.  Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Regina's "wing re-boning" actually counted as elective minor surgery and anesthetics would then be required by law.
Either way, if the option is available, why endure the pain when it can be suppressed?  I say bring on the laughing gas! 8)

Smart money says she does it before the nerve endings grow back in... thus no pain messages get sent to the brain, just a diffuse, hazy case of phantom limb where her wing muscle and skin should be.

I quite agree, it sounds like intense pain and probably a stinging sensation at the least. But as it is said: "Women will do ANYTING to be beautiful." especialy the teen ones...That said, I do enjoy her swimsuit, it suits her well. :mwaha
