How would I organise a works cited list into MLA format?

Just so you know, the list isn't already in MLA format. My english teacher said so.

I have no idea how to put it in proper MLA format, since the way the list is in now is from googling how to put works cited into MLA.

Put it in MLA, she says. Well, I'm stumped. She's the first teacher who wouldn't accept a jumbled list of irrelivant info before.

How is this done?

According to the above, your internet citations are out of order. (I'm grasping at straws here.) As for me, I've ALWAYS asked for specifics. (Usually because I think they're trying to give me BS, but that's another story for another time.)

Also, make sure that anything you quoted is clearly marked as such. (IE, it's own paragraph, has quotation marks, is prefaced by a statement saying that "So-and-so stated this:", etc.)

Other than that, this is the first I've heard of MLA. (Crappy high school, and didn't hang around college long enough to get to research papers and whatnot.)

Go to that page, and copy the format for each thing exactly.  EXACTLY. Periods where there are periods listed. Italics, commas, everything. Don't add anything else, and don't leave anything out.

APA and MLA are all about precision. You're nowhere near the right format - as you will be able to see from the webpage.

Also, if you're feeling lazy, easybib.com can create properly formatted bibliographies just by having you enter in the info you've got.

Thanks for the help. That easybid site just made my life much easier.

I don't think my teacher can deny this.

Also, in MLA, for an outline, how much information is needed? It's not a draft, so it shouldn't have the entire 10 page report in it.

What I have right now, is the intro, a list of things I'm gonna write about, then a conclusion that is subject to change.

But really, shouldn't an outline just be an outline of what you're gonna write about? Shouldn't the list of things be enough? My teacher won't accept it like that, but still.

I'm pretty sure that in an outline, if you plan on quoting something, WHERE you plan on putting that quote should be included. (You may also want to include how you plan on introducing said quote.)

Castle Pokemetroid

Right you are. I did quote, so thanks for the heads up.

I turned in my works cited and it didn't get rejected this time. Thanks guys.

I also finished all ten pages of my report, so I'll be turning that in, just a day before the deadline.
