Probably, it is very hard to judge the line between innovative and cheesy, except when the brought out Quavers,  they were innovative and cheesy!

Come to think of it, an opening animation would have been a better suggestion, one that just plays once when the page is loaded. But that could suffer from the same problem.

Say, I just realized that I never commented on this. Turnsky, I like the new logo you put together. It seems fitting for the growth of the setting, more "exotic adventure in an unknown world" and less "super-tech." As far as the symbolism goes...hmm. I'm still working on that. I'll have to pay attention as the story progresses, but the symbol that the beam springs from does look like some of the ancient/alien writing that I've seen throughout the story.

As far as the updates go...well, that's really up to Turnsky. Near as I can tell, he'd like to update at least weekly, but Real Life (the ultimate sitcom/soap-opera/RPG) has been throwing hammers at him lately, so it's been more like one or two times a month. In a nutshell: it'll happen when it happens, and it'll be worth the wait.
