Could Dan perhaps move his date so they don't conflict?  And lend Fi to Alexsi to keep in a bag or something?  That would give them a way to call for help (which they probably don't need given Pyroduck, but it would make Dan happier.)

When Aniz was disguised as Cid, he covered part of his left arm to keep people from seeing his clan mark.  In this image, Edward's right arm is covered in the same place while his left arm is out of sight.  I think that Amber is trying to keep the emotions bubbling about a certain subject while not providing any actual information.

*snerk!* This takes me back to Biology of Fishes in college.  Skinning a fish alive is actually quite easy once you know how.  

All that aside, I love Dan's face in that last panel.  I can just hear his chin going "thunk" on the table.  Funny thing is I'm also more intrigued as to what they're discussing in the background.

How much is him and how much is his incubi nature? A good number of character traits are cubi like or similar to his mothers personality (at that age). Perhaps they both flow into each other, for example In my case I am not a person with dyslexia but a dyslexic person, it fundamentally affects who you are.

Edit: I'd also say Ed was Tan not black, curious how both of his kids ended up a lot lighter (especially as kids of being/cubi couple usually take after the being parent in appearance)

Are you sure you want Dan of all people to be focused?
He is a much safer individual with a short attention span and getting his mental train derailed at the drop of a hat.
A focused Dan would be able to do things beyond what our scatterbrained Dan can.
