Hello!

Certainly, I would be happy to. My name is . I signed up here on ! :3

Here are some other semi-random facts about me. They might even make it through the censors intact.
My favorite new webcomic is FW! Adventures.
My desktop computer has recently started making a fairly quiet high-pitched noise, like an old CRT TV, and it is driving me crazy.
I've never been to a real concert but I plan to have that fixed within a month!
My favorite style of food is Tex-Mex.
I get sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms on my pizza.
Within about two to three weeks I may be forced to start destroying history.

I hope that's enough to start with. Writing about myself is hard. :B
I thank Silver Fox and Tiger_T for the wonderful Yappies.  all around the universe powers learned to hiss and curse at this, my creation but am i real or pure creation?
I'm never where i was, rarely where i want to be, but always were i am needed.

Dear invisible friend,

did you enjoy that last round?

how are you feeling?

Was it a good homecoming game, and did your team win?

Do you like american style football?

Do you have a driver's license? Do you own a car?

Hasn't your mother ever told you it's impolite to talk with your mouth full?

I'm doing well, though I'm about to get some sleep as it's nearly midnight at the time I'm writing this reply.

I was born in the USA.

Fluently I know one language.  However I know bits and pieces of two or three others, but not enough to speak them.

Yes I have, wish I came back with more scotch though.

Yes, had a transmission dropped on my thumb.  Doctor said it made a clean break which was interesting.

Not really much of a reader.

Star Trek.  There really haven't been all that many movies that actually looked (IMO) good enough to go see in the theaters.

Dear Visible Friend,

I am doing quite well, how about yourself?

The weather is tolerable, if a little cold for my taste.

I do many things, there is much one can do for fun around here.

I enjoyed the new movie, if that is what you are referring to.  I have not really watched that many of the newer series, but the old show reruns are quite entertaining.

Gold, I would not consider myself expendable.

Hrmm... In the next two weeks I do believe there are bigger things than books/movies/games that I will be enjoying.

I choose not to answer this question for the time being.  Perhaps later?

"Never eat anything bigger than you can chew."

Well, today as I'm answering this, I'm doing great! Aside from a cold that made my night somewhat miserable and threw me off a bit.
Oh, a few things.
Oh, yes. Um, Action Platformers and JRPGs.
I recently reread Hogfather, which I do indeed like.

personally i would have said never eat anything bigger the your car but the not all of us have cars that car if into a suitcase. i'll have to as my wife has she does that one of these days.

Dear IF,

Have you ever said a statement that you yourself had to stop and think about after saying it?

And since I can't really think of anything else at the moment, it's time for some crazy.

Jean is shorter than Brutus, but taller than Imhotep.  Imhotep is taller than Sean, but shorter than Lord Scotland.  Lord Scotland is twice the height of Jean and Brutus combined, but only a tenth the height of Millsy.  Millsy is at a constant height of x-y.   If Jean stands exactly one nautical mile away from Lord Scotland, How tall is Imhotep?

I've been experimenting with keeping file history on my computer, and enough has now accumulated that I'll soon run out of space if I don't start destroying old versions or pushing the history off to other storage. But it sounds a lot less exciting that way. ;)

CRT is a Cathode Ray Tube, as in the old, big TVs/monitors instead of LCD/plasma/etc displays.

FW stands for Forest Wolf, the main character of that comic. There was supposed to be a link, http://fw-adventures.com, if you haven't seen that comic yet and are interested. It's quite amusing and well drawn, I think.

I don't think that I know you well at all, though you certainly seem like a nice person. :)

Yes, it can be rather hard for me to get to know other people, and I wouldn't say that any person other than myself really, truly knows me well. I have found, though, that sharing a meal with someone (not in a group setting) is usually the best place for me to talk with and get to know that person better.

now if you don't mind i'm going to slip out of this wet armor and into a dry martini

Yes, I'd say questionable content but some new ones are moving up and newcomers called B.I.B.L.E and The Meek just may one day take this place.
Do you play video games?
Yes, I own a wii, 360, ds, and occasionally use my pc.
Do you have a fun story from this week?
Ok a friend of mine got to go Duck hunting Monday. They got in a boat early in the morning and went out to an island in a big nearby lake. So they sat there for a while very cold when these two fisherman in a boat came nearby the island. They are there just fishing talking when a bunch of Ducks flew past the island. My friend and the others jump up and unload a few 12 gauge shells as they hear a motor boat going very fast and two men cursing to high heaven.
For Halloween, are you celebrating it? if so, what are you going as? Yes, I will be working in the haunted section of a nearby corn maze.

I use FreeBSD, Solaris 10, OpenSolaris, and Linux regularly (on different machines). Linux (and OpenSolaris, to a lesser extent) drive me crazy, but I have to use them some for reasons of practicality.

Interesting about the CRTs; I actually don't recall ever hearing "Cathode Ray Tube" outside of describing how they work. Everyone here just says "CRT".

The Arena seems to be an interesting, fun place. This game is here, of course. :3

The last things that made me feel:
- bored: Running out of interesting reading material to procrastinate with, I suppose.
- relaxed: Sitting outside in the sun, chatting with my parents.
- worried: It's kind of hard to keep track of these, but probably an important exam which I am scheduled to take on Monday, or having problems with flights on an upcoming trip.
- excited: Receiving some wonderful sketch updates on a commission. :eager

Do we have to talk about one of them? Messages, then.

I listen to music by all means. It may be around, resounding in the
air, or it may be in my mind. It may come from a radio, a computer,
some other audio device, a movie or TV series, or even a video game.
Or from someone's voice, even my own. Or from birds outside. There are
probably more sources too. There's always some kind of music around.

Birdsong right now, and there has been a lot of "Dreams dreams" in its
different versions this week. And some Roxette and Green Day on a
friend's car on Thursday.

Not lately, but I do remember some awful stuff I hope I don't have to
hear again.

Oh, yes. "Dreams dreams" is so sticky it's been going on and on in my
mind for days.

The languages I can read, write and understand are the same. There are
a few languages of which I know a little, but not enough to have a
conversation or read a text. Although there are 2 languages I can sort
of read and understand quite a bit even though I've never learnt them
and I can't speak them very well.

How much younger? Every book I have read, I read it when I was younger
than I am now.

I don't think so. I'm taking so long to reply, you deserve a fair
number of answers.

I'm guessing you don't know your MATHS.  The correct answer was, Imhotep is invisible.

Here's another one to test your skills.

8 ladies go to 8 shops at 8:00 in the morning.  Each lady wants to buy 8 spiders.  For each spider, 8 spider shoes must also be bought.  But they only have 8 pounds between them.  With each spider costing 8 pence and each spider shoe costing an 1/8th pence each, will the ladies have enough change for the ride home, a journey costing 8 pence per stop and made up of 8 stops?

Dear invisible friend,

I'm in the mood for a couple of riddles... how about you?
(and please, try these on your own first)

In a marble hall, white as milk,
Lined with skin as soft as silk,
Within a fountain crystal clear,
A golden apple, doth appear,
No doors there are to this stronghold,
Yet thieves break in to steal the gold...

Two bodies have I,
Though both joined in one.
The more still I stand,
The quicker I run...

I run smoother than any rhyme,
I love to fall but cannot climb.
I tremble at each breath of air,
And yet can heaviest burdens bear...

There is a thing, which nothing is,
Yet it has a name.
It's sometimes tall
And sometimes short
It tumbles when we fall
It joins our sport,
And plays at every game...

Have fun with these :)

Dear Invisible Friend,

No, we don't have to talk about spam, but I would be curious to hear your views on spam messages.
What album/artist is "Dreams Dreams" from? I couldn't find it.
To be more specific, what are some books that you remember from when you were less than 10?
What are some of your favorite foods?
Do you cook much?
If so, what do you like to cook?

Sincerely,
- Fibre

Dear Invisible Friend,

How are you today?

Have you ever participated in an activity that was similar to this game, but not exactly the same? If so, what was it? If not... what would be an appropriate replacement question?

When the day after tomorrow becomes 'yesterday', 'today' will be as far from Monday as 'today' was when the day before yesterday was 'tomorrow'. What day is today?

What is the answer to this question?

And last, but not least, something that came up in a conversation with my brother. Who said that every sentence has to

as i recently played the mok turtle in one of sigil's pictures i felt it only just that i play the part.

Will you swim a little faster said the whiting to the snail
there's a porpoise close behind us and he's treading on my tail
see how eagerly the lobsters and the turtles all advance.
they are waiting on the shingle--will you come and join the dance?
Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, will you join the dance?
Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, won't you join the dance?
"You can really have no notion how delightful it will be
When they take us up and throw us, with the lobsters, out to sea!"
But the snail replied "Too far, too far!" and gave a look askance--
Said he thanked the whiting kindly, but he would not join the dance.
Would not, could not, would not, could not, would not join the dance.
Would not, could not, would not, could not, could not join the  dance.
`"What matters it how far we go?" his scaly friend replied.
"There is another shore, you know, upon the other side.
The further off from England the nearer is to France--
Then turn not pale, beloved snail, but come and join the dance.
Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, will you join the  dance?
Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, won't you join the  dance?"'

Dear invisible friend,

I'm in the mood for a couple of riddles... how about you?
(and please, try these on your own first)

In a marble hall, white as milk,
Lined with skin as soft as silk,
Within a fountain crystal clear,
A golden apple, doth appear,
No doors there are to this stronghold,
Yet thieves break in to steal the gold...

Two bodies have I,
Though both joined in one.
The more still I stand,
The quicker I run...

I run smoother than any rhyme,
I love to fall but cannot climb.
I tremble at each breath of air,
And yet can heaviest burdens bear...

There is a thing, which nothing is,
Yet it has a name.
It's sometimes tall
And sometimes short
It tumbles when we fall
It joins our sport,
And plays at every game...

{Not really but one let's play}

In a marble hall, white as milk,
Lined with skin as soft as silk,
Within a fountain crystal clear,
A golden apple, doth appear,
No doors there are to this stronghold,
Yet thieves break in to steal the gold...
{Uhhh the Hearth?}

Two bodies have I,
Though both joined in one.
The more still I stand,
The quicker I run...
{This one much less trickier but still a challenge.....hmmmm I'd say this is an hourglass?}

I run smoother than any rhyme,
I love to fall but cannot climb.
I tremble at each breath of air,
And yet can heaviest burdens bear...
{This is easy water}

There is a thing, which nothing is,
Yet it has a name.
It's sometimes tall
And sometimes short
It tumbles when we fall
It joins our sport,
And plays at every game...

{For this one was a bit harder than the third one but standing up and seeing what was around oneself when playing ...a shadow}

QuoteNo freaking clue. My first impression would be to say that I don't have enough information to solve it.

Dear VF,

Ah, is this a Freakazoid reference?
I'm not sure if you're referring to the old system of measuring the British pound or the new one. If it's the old, then it's a system of which I have no knowledge on how it works. If it's the new one where a pence is a hundredth of a pound, then no. They'll have to hitchhike.

Yes, if your Covert Courtesy Communication would be considered somewhat similar to this.

Dear IF,

Actually no, I was referring to the British dis-educational video series "Look Around You".  That and the previous question were specifically from the MATHS episode.

Now on with some more questions.

If you were stranded on a deserted island and a crate washed up on shore, what 5 things, of your choice, would you find in it?

What is your favorite sport?

Hear any good music lately?

And just because Bas is on to a good thing I think, here's a riddle  >:]

I turn polar bears white
And I will make you cry.
I make guys have to pee
And girls comb their hair.
I make celebrities look stupid
And normal people look like celebrities.
I turn pancakes brown
And make your champagne bubble.
If you squeeze me, I'll pop.
If you look at me, you'll pop.
Can you guess the riddle?
I somehow get the feeling that you didn't think your cunning plan all the way through.

Dear Silentassassin,

Short answer:  Yes, but it's not going to be in our lifetime.

Do you play any instruments?

Yes, guitar.  But it's more of a hobby, I don't actively practice enough to be very good.

How many webcomics have you read, are reading, etc?

About 23 or so.

What is the worst webcomic you have ever seen? By quality or subject matter offensive whatev

I don't go looking for webcomics, I just kind of stumble on them.  So far I haven't found any that I thought were bad, I can't really give a good answer to this question.

Ever had a near death experience?

Nope.

Think all these question are annoying?

Eh, I have no problem with them.
