Truth is, many of the comic-based movies just fall flat.  It takes talented writing and direction to make the stories adapt well to film, and let's face it, there is a severe dearth of any real talent in Hollow-wood.  

The recent Batman films reveal what can be done with a brilliant team.  

EDIT:  And for evidence of what NOT to do, I just found out that a "Ghost Rider" sequel, again with Nicholas Cage, has been greenlit.   Bleh.

Love the second quote on that, about his height. Seems to have been quite forgotten as of late. Which was actually the one redeeming factor about Wolverine. He wasn't the typical "super ultra, taller than all around him" style super hero that is always portrayed. Oh well.

I do hope that anime is at least supposed to be after the Weapon X thing, cause judging by his face and hair, it sure doesn't look it... Then again, this is also the same country who brought us "Spiderman" : Lawl Spiderman.
