I finally got this incredibly underrated game to function on my laptop, and it will now almost certainly eat many many more hours of my life now that its on my main computer. Ive beaten this game multiple times, and even though its more or less linear, I never get tired of it. Thats one of the reasons its probably my favorite game of all time, and also the reason that I am incredibly sad that it will never have a sequel.
Anyone else ever play this game? If so, like, didnt like? Just wonderin.

That looks very interesting.  Where might someone find a copy?

Try Amazon.  Amazon UK certainly has it.

I knew the name sounded familiar... there was a flyer for it in my copy of Deus Ex.

This is a great example of what can be done with an engine when someone else uses it.

Tom Hall, that's a name I haven't heard in a long time.

so far I'm having a blast but I hope some one might be able to help me out with one or two small problems I'm having.

I've gone to haphestus and found out how to work the hosts but I can't seem to equip them to use in battle  any Idea what I'm doing wrong?

also does anyone know how to get back to democratus I've got some weapons plans that say I need to see a democratus scientist

Teh_Hobo

I'm not sure about the hosts, its been quite a while since my last proper playthrough. Blast vista and all of its awkwardness. The scientist you need is on sender station, i think in the fancy hotels lobby, there should be another democratan on anachronox in franks flophouse if thats not the right one.

I think it might not be working yet because I haven't compleated both post sunder missions

I went to hephestus first and I think the game expects you to complete the sender station mission before you head off to another planet.

I had heard of the scientest at the flop house but I think he's how you increase Democratus's tractor beam skill.  I think at some piont you do go back to Votown and Democratus's surface.  While searching for info on the elementor system I found referances to buying nuclear missles battle skill there and I saw referances to the planet surface.  I'll just keep playing.

thanks...

I was inpressed that senders red light district includes a gay bar.  one that lets you dance for money (and if you do real well a new gun for Boots)

Teh_Hobo

Ha ha yeah, the Man Dance. I completely missed that my first time through. There are some interesting reactions if you bring in other people and try to get them to dance.
