Hmm... but with the outcome of this pirate movie, I was expecting the global temperature to decrease for quite some time! Instead the weather has gotten hotter! How can He allow this?!

But yeah. Not as awesome as the first movie, and didn't really solve anything. But Jack Sparrow makes anything awesome.

I would agree with that assessment. It was fun, and light-hearted, and some of the action scenes were great... but, it just felt like nothing got done.

I was all excited at the beginning of that preview; I thought it was for the Imax film from the Mars expedition. :(

Uh. Learning a bunch of new stuff versus actually accomplishing stuff is completely different. The entire movie is just a big prologue to the third one.
The entire movie rides on the sucess of the first one and the fact that Johnny Depp is a good actor. It felt like every other character were just there to watch his crazy antics.

Bleh. I'm not even going to bother with this one since it's sounding a lot like The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions. Those sequals being just one overblown movie that could have easily been one film if they just stopped slowing down every unimportant peice of action.

Aye...But the Matrix's didn't Have Pirates and it seems that that Genre is making a comeback somehow...
