I do. it was pretty cool to see the shiny logo on SNES games. I think it was pretty stupid to have it removed. a small change such as Rare's removal of the R's border woudn't be so bad, but the complete removal of the logo as quite bleh...

I agree with logo changes such as the EA one, the cube+cone+sphere looked stupid, but can you imagine if blizzard removed the cool "Blizzard" and replaced with a more sleek, modern one? arrrrgggghhhh

I've frankly lost count.

Apple has done similar. They kept the basic shape of the logo, at least, even though the rainbow colors have passed on.

That reminds me of my favorite corporate logo of all time: General Electric.

Awesome, because these days, that idea would have been laughed out of the focus group room.
