If Merl is depressed about Aary (and not tied up in a corner with his flat burgled), is he really going to like a card about how his girlfriend was a total evil wench?

Just a thought, would Merl wait in a corner with the lights off, the door open and with trash on his floor just in case Abel came by? :|

Well, we can say some things about Merlitz now

1. he should really put some oil on those hinges
2. he doesn't leave the lights on
3. and it has been said; he should lock the door

Much easier if you use proper minesweepers. If you really have to, force-fire. :P

I'm tempted to provide another random option because I'm good at that.  Abel happened to slip Merlitz some kind of magically unstable device, akin to a sort of mana-empowered anti-reality device.  Out of pure spite and nothing else, just for kicks.  Something that would drive Merlitz nuts for a while and then dissipate.  Later, Abel completely forgot about this.

Cue Merlitz apartment, device has triggered and Merlitz has clearly levelled the place with a fireball and he's now in a corner, passed out cold, sweating a cold, cold sweat at some of the crazy things he's just seen.  Now Abel either feels horribly guilty about this and he wants to send Dan in to check on Merlitz first because he's unable to face him or ...

Said anti-reality field hasn't dissipated and Dan's about to wander into the land of dancing muffins.

Poor, poor Dan.

Of course, this will never happen but I like my What If scenarios.

Here something what if a temporal wormhole opened up and sucked Meryl to an alternate dimension those things leave a mess after it appeared. Also messed with the electricity hence the no lights. Anywho where ever he at he is very happy now. :mowhappy :mowhappy :mowhappy
