Everywhere I've seen, all I need is the origin for the piece and the + to signify check, but I'll do it that way.

I like the long algebraic method because it allows for greater precision. Play a king and queens endgame and you get a *lot* of checks, many of which can come from any angle of the board. Sorry for misinterpreting though.

Actually, I did. I moved it here, because it's game related. Rather than an actual game.

It's a 50-50 choice between here and the Arena, though. And it's not mindless entertainment, so...
