I do admit I took a few liberties in giving the readers a view of what was happening that Dan may not himself have been known to. (like DP having dinner instead of retreating, and the fight between Shanna and Aliyka) 

Either way, at this stage in his life Dan wouldnt have much to worry about regarding dragons.  Well...outside of the worries anyone would likely have regarding dragons.

Oh, okay. So, does Dan know by now (the present day) that Shanna is a dragon, and if so when did he learn? And a certain part of me is hoping that he never finds out that DP just went out to dinner after their fight: that would not be good for his ego at all. Either that or it would drive him into a berserker rage at the thought that DP killed a friend of his and beat the tar out of him and another friend and then simply went out to dinner... or is that how Dan was able to beat DP the next time they fought?

Out of curiosity, how important to the plot is the person he's having dinner with? And who is she? I'm not really expecting an answer, but a guy can dream...

Heh, good point. Besides which, I don't think he'd have much to worry about from Shanna: she seems to regard him as an equal, or at the very least a comrade, so maybe she'll let his Cubi heritage slide... especially if he doesn't care much for it.

I forgot about them saying "he" by the time I got to Shanna calling him Danna.
So even knowing he's a guy, she must consider him "one of the girls". :catgirl :mowmeep
