Sorry, it can't be fix. In the best of cases, it can at most be contained.

It's not the wind.

Yes, I do. Smoking is bad for you and everyone around you.

There are many ways: wood, a lighter, a magnifying lens under the sun... anything that involves heat, oxygen and something combustible.

You're dreaming. Don't worry, you will wake up soon.

Why do you think it should or shouldn't rain? Don't answer unless you have another question, but in any case it's not up to you to decide when rain should fall.

As far as I know, flow charts are used for processes. For binary relations, I think a graph works best (you can look for graph-drawing programs, like dotty, or whatever suits your particular needs which you haven't specified). For arbitrary relations, a graph could still work but you'll end up having a lot of cliques. There may be better tools for that. It would help if you couldtell us exactly what you need.

Though Gabi answered already, I have some input too.  You may need an additional layer of abstraction.  If you are using bog standard UML flow charts you may wish to look into what is called 'packages'.  A decent UML book will describe this.

Yeah, I figured that that would probably be a little too vague.  My mistake.

What I'm trying to make is a visual representation of relationships between a fairly large group of fictional characters.  Said relationships (familial, social, hierarchical and more where that came from) are diverse enough to require either captions (as my paper draft uses) or a color-coded key to represent accurately.  DOT and DOTTY look promising.

Pictures would be nice, but that would be secondary icing-on-the-cake.  That said, not that I would seriously spend money on this, but I would be more than a little surprised if graphing software like that doesn't exist on the market.

Many. In fact, that's not even a rule, just a generalization. And most generalizations are flawed.

We can...
1. Compare the quantities: that's easy, it's 3 vs. 4.
2. Compare their respective shapes, colors, sizes and other visible aspects.
3. Compare their textures, temperatures and other tactile aspects.
4. Compare their smells.
5. Eat them and compare their tastes, possibly determining which ones are tastier, more ripe, etc.
6. Decide there's no point in comparing apples and oranges and go away.

Here's one:
Every rule has an exeption.

But if you made it a rule, it could.
As a rule, it falls under the "every rule has an exception" category, meaning even itself has exceptions. This could lead to the fact that no rule has an exception, contradicting itself outright.

Gabi

Logic fail.

If "every rule has an exception" has exceptions, which it does, then how could that possibly mean that no rules have exceptions? It only means that some rules don't. What you (KK) say would only make sense if you made that the only rule in the universe.

Still, if something has an exception, I'm not very inclined to call it a rule.

Now, if you say "the only rule is that there are no rules" (which has been said before), there you have a rule that breaks itself.
