Whenever I have Yahoo Mail and this site open at the same time, my mail goes so slow I have to close it. Also, I need to do Ctrl-Alt-Delete because it won't close normally. What should I do to fix this?

Clear your brower cache? Close one of the two tabs/windows? It's the best I can think of.

Why was sexual reproduction invented? I mean, there's loads of organisms that are highly successful and they've been using asexual reproduction for hundreds of millions of years.

why is it that i can understand some of what is said to me in other languages ( i knew as a child)  but i can't speak them with confidence anymore?
I thank Silver Fox and Tiger_T for the wonderful Yappies.  all around the universe powers learned to hiss and curse at this, my creation but am i real or pure creation?

"Invented" implies intentionality and I'm not going to start a religious discussion, but in any case, sexual reproduction produces stronger genes and more varied individuals, and makes species more adaptable to changes. Asexual reproduction produces individuals whose genes only vary according to random mutations, thus improvements are scarce (and by improvements I mean treats that make the species more likely to survive).

Because you forgot how to speak them, but the words spoken to you remind you of what you had forgotten.

Why does time seem to travel faster as one ages?

Why does time seem to travel faster as one ages?
Wow, my brother was just talking about this! We both think it's because, as we become older, we start living in a hurry and trying to meet deadlines, thinking about the future instead of living in the present. We pay less attention to the little details, so when we stop to think about a certain moment it's already gone.

That, and I have the feeling that we always feel the same way about the time we have lived, regardless of how long it has been. At least that's what happens in my case.

I've always thought it was a mater of scale.  When you are young you have fewer days behind you, thus you don't have as much of a frame of reference for time.  But as you get older, and you can remember years and more decades, each moment seems much smaller.

Is time really relevant?
It depends on the context. Some things depend on time while others do not.

I wouldn't call it a syndrome, but I'm pretty sure that's common to many, if not all people.

They don't scare medical practitioners either.

Contrary to popular belief, neither do apples. Both my parents are medical doctors and I've seen them eat them.

Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain,

Fablehaven is a young adult novel by Brandon Mull (Author) that I happen to really like (It's clean and free of sex and such. Also full of awesome adventure). :boogie
