Okay

It seems the Taun's Clan is more powerful than the Jin's Clan and the Jinvth nation or clan, I am not sure, here.  I still say Fa'lina could still move a few pieces of her chessboard and put Aniz in a difficult spot with the Jin's clan nearby

Well maybe not, Fa-lina has to be an example to the Cubi race and not take direct action against Aniz on her own with the other clan leaders' permission.

BTW HOW do the cubi deal with the crimial members of their race?

Given that 'Cubi seem to be very rare and spread out, I'm not sure how practical it would be for them to have a central authority like that, Creature Council aside.  More likely it just falls under the local jurisdiction.

Though infractions within a clan stronghold (if such exists) would presumably be dealt with as the clan's head sees fit.

*Charline snerks*  Bwah ha ha!  Aniz is even dumber than I ever could have imagined!  The only time I'd bring up something like that in front of Fa'Lina is when I'm about to spring my secret plot to seize control of SAIA!

*Charles uhms*  Isn't that plot supposed to be secret?

*Charline nods!*  And no one will suspect a thing!

*Charles nods slowly*  Suuure.  Not a thing.   ;)
Three's a crowd:  One lordly leonine of the Leyjon, one cruel and cunning cubi goddess, and one utterly doomed human stuck between them.

Three thoughts on this comic:
A) Fa'Lina is about bust out with muffins and smiles. The big toothy smiles, mind you.
B) Aniz might very well be reason his clan is all but dead in the present point of the timeline.
C) Aside from the possible side twists of Fa'Lina smiling like like an insane killer offering sweats, I would like to second the theory that we will soon be cut to Abel's perspective again.

Wanderer

Oh freaking wow. Aniz is having the WORST case of "everything that comes to mind comes right out his mouth without stopping at the brain first" I have seen in a very long time. I hasn't even considered the idea of him saying something THAT stupid.

Admittedly, the likeliness of her letting him go because that comment affected her rather profoundly is almost as high as that of her killing him outright for the same reason. We'll have to wait and see. But still... freaking STUPID.

In all seriousness, whatever problems might be caused by Aniz's demise, I'm pretty sure Fa'Lina's willing to ignore them right about now.

I think Aniz needs to take a lesson from Mr. Python right now, and be very quick about it you "vacuous coffee-nosed malodorous pervert!" :P

There are fates worse than death :P I so doubt there's a 'death sentence' they probably just suck out souls or something.

Rumour has it that that sort of thing sparked the clan wars which decimated the population.  I would wager that 'Cubi -'Cubi soul-stealing is considered a very bad thing to do.

Now, if we look back to the Disasters arc, we see that Aary's answer to Dan allegedly committing murder is to kill him herself.

How hard can she punch anyways?

She can punch a man in the face hard enough to make his head explode. She is like Kenshiro from "Fist of the North Star". >:3

Fa'Lina Paunch?

There are several different kinds of punches at Fa'Lina's disposal. So far we have seen only a "Correcting Punch".

As I recall, it wasn't the hardness of the punch that caused the head to explode in Fist of the North Star.  If it was, the head would have exploded immediately.  My understanding was that it triggered some sort of reaction in the body that resulted in the head exploding, the precise mechanism of which was unclear.  Wasn't it actually withdrawing his fist that caused the head to explode ten seconds later?

I sort of view Fa'lina as more the snap your fingers and cause a planet to explode as in Dragonball.  I would picture her as having a really spectacular "kiss of death".

Fa'lina's a Tri-Wing.  She could probably punch straight through a mountain.

She has achieved Super Cubiyan!   :U

Magical usage of pressure points, I believe the explanation was.

That's "toffee-nosed, malodorous pervert", actually.

Otherwise - What an incredibly unnerving way to construct a comic:
Aniz going off like that, and us just left seeing the back of Fa'Lina's head.
Talk about an ominonous way to leave us at the end of a page.
Amber's skill with serial art amazes me again.

I am trying to piece together some ideas, and wanted to know what you think of them.

Could it be that Fa'lina is trying to rebuild her clan by having her students bring her being/cubi hybrids.  When Aniz referred to the look of the individuals, he could be referring to the looking like members of Fa'lina's clan.  That would also explain the portion where Fa'lina says that it is all her fault.  If she started the idea of former students bringing her replenishments for her clan (possibly in exchange for money or better grades), she would feel responsible for the resulting mess.

It would probably be much less of a hassle for her to start popping out her own pups, then to do that.. besides.. as we see with Abel, hes already got the mark of anther clan on him, Not sure if you can just "Change" clans or not tho...

Or she could start turningin Beings into Cubi ((I think I read that could be  done somepalce))

On a note: are we allowed to talk about *censored* information derived indirectly from *censored* pages even though they do not deal directly with *censored* details discussed therein? Because a lot of information on said *censored* is vastly relevant on the topic of *censored* being talked about here...

I suspect she can't.  It would explain the reason Fa'Lina is so obsessed about children (e.g. 730, not letting Dee kill children, and arguably founding the Academy itself as a haven for young 'Cubi) if she no longer has that ability herself.

IIRC it is usually more trouble than it's worth.

I think not, although Amber would have the final word on that.

Since said pages have "do not discuss on pain of expulsion", I'd say as long as they have that, you're not allowed to discuss them.

On the other hand, if you have ideas developing from them, as long as you don't reference the pages or the details in them directly, merely inferentially, nobody has any reason to stop you.

It is, however, a very very fine line. Were I you, I'd be careful. ;-]

Oooh, Fa'Lina is pissed.  I hope Aniz doesn't loose his head at this point, because then Abel wouldn't be able to take out his aggressions on the guy!
