If DP dresses his guards in pink and puts flowers in their hair, he is one seriously creative bad guy.  Or out of his gourd.

A baseball bat is designed to hit things with a huge impact, as are hammers, axes, etc.  The arm of a being doesn't make a very good club.  It's also possible that Abel is stronger than the average cubi or being.

A "klunk" to the top of a head wouldn't be as effective as one to the side, at knocking someone out, but it would probably cause a lot of damage to the spinal column. It might easily kill a person. Dan must have more than a hard head - he must have a very strong neck.
Maybe he's naturally less vulnerable to ANY injury than are normal Beings. That might explain his taking up leaping from cliffs for fun, or his choosing to become an Adventurer.

While E_voyager is right, there is also the fact that Jy believed Dan really could fly. He didn't know that they'll just drop down the cliff before it was too late. However, when he realized that they both were fine after the landing he wanted to jump again, which also goes in favour of E's version.

as long as people are nitpicking Alyka wasn't a phoenix until the warrior for Hire arch. which means Dan is either telling the story wrong, has mis remembered, or has added something extra to make the story more interesting.

probably more then that. his sis's hammers is for ejection like a golf club hitting a golf ball. My guess is she almost never uses it on him and instead uses her fist and random walls.

Incidentally, crowing about how you made guesses and they were right is a good way to annoy people. Annoy enough people, and we start seeing about how we can get by without your presence. I'd suggest being a little careful about that, if I was you.
