Question about Dr.Ink in #525

Why does he have a halo in #525? It doesn't show up in any other comic.

I suppose it could be there like an anime sweat-drop or throbbing-vein, like an emoticon, but I rarely, if ever, see Amber do that.

It could just be part of his outfit formed by his abilities.  Generally people think a halo means good, so it would put them off-guard allowing him to do what he does best.

Best I could find was this self-description. Seems like it simply appears at the weirdest times.

Apparently a character-specific thing, even though I'm not sure if Amber or Ink came up with the initial idea.

Of course, that post is OLD, so it's possible that there is more recent information...

I always thought it seemed to be duct-taped to his headwings... or maybe he's just shapeshifted to make it look like that.

Seems like the sort of thing we'll learn about in Abel's Story.  Or we might not.
