comic 366, the second panel looks A LOT like Albanion, so thats how Mab knows the creature council wants Jyrass, thus she bribed Albanion with the soul of her father so he would "curse" Jyrass, which is really Mabs way of protecting Jyrass..........I think i just confused myself

Amber has confirmed that the fae in the shadow is indeed Albanion. I don't remember where she said that, though. Ask llearch or Tapewolf, if anyone remembers which thread it was, it's them.

If one assumes that cubi aren't the only ones who can hear thoughts, there may be some justification to the deceptions carried out by Mab.  There is a saying about security that you can't be forced to reveal what you don't know.  On this basis, Mab would have had a reason for arranging the meeting between Jyrras and Abel so that Abel could provide Jyrras with a mind shield.
